"It’s worth visiting Derry just to stay at The Lawrence; it’s a gem with lovely ambience and wonderful staff. David’s walking tour is a must, and the delicious breakfast was served with a smile. Don’t miss the best porridge you might ever eat! Complimentary beverages and snacks, comfy common areas, and a literary theme throughout - it’s through and through charming. Thank you!"

"Staff was very helpful throughout our stay. Property was centrally located to the Derry experience."

"Our room was lovely and just what we needed. The staff was helpful. The only drawback was that they were doing construction and the parking was not right at the hotel. We had to go around the back and up some stairs to park in an adjacent lot which wasn’t very convenient when it came to our luggage. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back another time. There are dining options inside the hotel that you need reservations for. We opted to walk across the parking lot and go...

"Lovely hotel, great staff and location. Drink and food prices are very good. Will be back."

"Very central, friendly staff."

"Loved the area, it was very walkable. The room was clean and a good size. Appreciated the free parking option but it was a little difficult carting 4 bags of luggage from parking to the room, then up the stairs."

"Clean room"

"Wow, this was an amazing stay! I wish we had stayed longer! Beautiful guesthouse amazing staff, quiet, big room (we got an upgrade, thank you). Absolutely stunning. Walkable to the city centre, wish we had time for the breakfast. Plenty of parking available. Wonderful stay."

"We had a lovely stay the room was spacious and clean, all the staff we interacted with were very polite and friendly! Great food in the bar and a good breakfast selection…we would be very happy to stay in the Everglades again."

"Wonderful Stay. Place is great"

"Not bad"

"The breakfast was lovely and definitely a highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room was very disappointing. Although it was spacious, the layout was poorly designed and the room felt very dated and uncomfortable. There were visible stains on the walls and an unpleasant smell, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the space. We found ourselves not wanting to spend any time in the room at all. With some updating, better design and attention to cleanliness, the room could be so much...

"Convenient location. Parking car a bit of an issue but worked something out in end."
