Family Gator Weekend

The house was perfect for our family Gator weekend. Nice, quiet neighborhood and house was exactly as described. The hosts communicated well and house was very clean. We did not get to use the pool as we had other activities planned during the day. But it was very peaceful sitting poolside in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.

Family gathering

The property is clean and well-maintained. The neighborhood is peaceful and provides for a very relaxing trip. It was the perfect setting to enjoy Easter Sunday with our children, who attend UF. Our dog loved roaming the large, beautiful treed side yard, which appears to be newly fenced in. Next time, I'll bring my camp hammock to enjoy that shaded area.

Great place for family!

Property was great for a family. Lots of space and in a great location. Neighborhood Playground across the street if you have kids. Well equipped kitchen with lots of space and seating. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at this property before and as usual it was very nice the lawn furniture in the back was not inviting to sit on as it was covered in leaves and stuff but there are large trees all around and the pool was clean like it was just cleaned

Perfect location

The home had ample amount of space. Its location was very convenient to the I75. Overall the home was clean and ample supplies were provided. Would recommend this place and stay again.

Gainesville Gem

Clean and cozy with a great back yard. Unfortunatelly it was too cold to try the inviting pool. We had a very comfortable stay and the kitchen was very functional. Close to parks and restaurants.

Graduation Weekend

We stayed at the Sunrise Family Friendly Oasis in Gainesville for my graduation. The house was clean and as advertised. Check in was fast and easy. We enjoyed our stay.

Just What We Needed

Home was welcoming and just as pictured in a safe neighborhood. The owners were great as well. Easy check in and check out process. Would recommend for families!

Just What We Were Looking For!

I booked this for me and some friends to go to a Gators Football game. We didn’t use the pool but it was nice to lay outside by it. The house was clean and only a 15 minute uber to campus, which was great. It was perfect for what we needed!

Buy the insurance

We had booked the stay at this place b/c we have a freshman at UF and we want to find a location that we could use frequently when we come to visit him as we live in the midwest. It was his birthday weekend and we wanted a place we could hang out and enjoy. Hurricane Helene had other plans and our flights were cancelled. I contacted our host to see if we could reschedule our weekend. She was booked for the following weekend - UF vs UCF game - and wasn't willing to forward our time to another weekend in the future - winter 2025 or fall of 2025. She cited that they were losing money on the short term rental and would probably make it a long term rental place. She did give me the option of a week day time IF no one else booked it and she would give us a 5 days notice if we could go. This had to be done prior to early Dec. After I commented about the lack of customer service, she rescinded the offer to stay at all. Long story short - she refunded the cleaning fee since we didn't stay there and wouldn't budge on anything else. Her prerogative as I didn't buy the insurance, which she reminded me of frequently during our conversations. Just buy the insurance through VRBO so if there is a weather event, you might recoup something of your stay. Lucky for us there are several really great places (we just found one this past weekend) in the area for us to go down and visit our kid.

Our group of 6 spent the weekend to attend soccer and football at UF for the weekend. The place was well equipped and the pool was old school in the best way. The home was very accommodating for our two dogs. If bringing dogs there is a pet fee not listed in the rental description. The fee was reasonable so not a dealbreaker for bringing the pups.Besides that everything was great.

Nice property inquired neighborhood with very responsive owners!

We stayed here with our entire family when we brought our oldest to University of Florida. It was about a 30 minute drive from the airport and about 20 minutes away from her dorm. With the car, it was easy to get everywhere we needed to be. There is a grocery store less than a mile away, which was helpful.. The inside of the house was very clean and the layout was perfect for our family. The beds were premade, and the house was stocked with basic necessities, like toilet paper, paper towels, salt, pepper, hand soap, dishwasher soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and body wash etc. When we arrived, the pool had a lot of leaves at the bottom and in the pump, but I sent a message to the owner and they had someone come out right away. There were some leaves falling in the pool as stated,but it remained clean enough for swimming for the entire four days we were there.

Immaculate and accurate.

The home is spotlessly super clean. Listing is very accurate. Do know though that dogs are not allowed in the pool to swim with you. It was nice finding a pet friendly place. Kid really enjoyed the pool. Do not dive in this pool it isn't deep enough and it has sloping sides, but huge and we really enjoyed it. Close to High Springs for tubing at Gilchrist Blue Springs. Tammy the host is very nice, good communication. New appliances and ice cold AC. Definitely recommend.

Girls Weekend

The house was clean and spacious! The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Very close to all kinds of shopping and activities. The pool is huge but needs a little TLC but it was lovely. We spent a lot of time in the pool.

Family Trip

Nice entertaining space.

Great place for hosting a pool party w plenty of places to sit. Pool was big and we used the gas grill for a cook out. Plenty of parking space and very close to Publix food store. The pool was very cloudy and hard to see the bottom even though it was supposedly cleaned 24 hours prior to arrival. Cleaned as in maybe just netting the larger surface stuff just prior? Either way the kids had a great time in the pool, just wish it was clearer. Again this was mentioned in the post about the pool due to large neighboring trees. The fridge took forever to cool down and I didn’t realize you can make the fridge cooler by setting the temp lower w the control by the water/ice dispenser panel. Near by park is cute. Beds were comfy, shampoo and conditioner available at the house. They didn’t provide any paper towels to start (maybe they forgot?) eitherway, Publix and dollar general close by. Lovely quiet neighborhood. Would rent again.

Lovely wooded area of homes conveniently located

While the size of the house was more than suitable for the 5 adults and had modern bathrooms, great parking, even 2 garage spaces, there were some shortcomings. The property fell short of what the photographs showed.

Weekend Softball Tournament

This house was perfect. We were in town for a softball tournament in Newberry. We were 20 minutes from the fields and the drive was very easy. Big plus, the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes!! Feeding ball players after all day play is a plus!!

Best yard for dogs

The property was just as advertised! Communication with owners was speedy and helpful. Our dogs loved the huge fenced in yard. It was not warm enough weather for the pool so we didn’t enjoy that amenity. Location was very convenient for our family wedding.

Love the location..close to campus and tucked in a nice neighborhood Pool and driveway stay covered in pollen. Suggest owner provides electronic blower House comes fully equipped and slept 3 teens, 1 preteen and 2 adults comfortably. We would book again!
