"We had a great 2 week stay at Villa Duchessa d'Amalfi. First, our host Gaetano was amazing. He arranged boat trips, wine tours, cooking classes and cars for us. And was generally very helpful and super responsive on Whatsapp if anything came up. The place itself was beautiful. The terrace overlooking the ocean was huge and well appointed. We tended to spend mornings and evenings out on the terrace enjoying coffee or a light meal. The pictures are accurate but can't really do the terrace...

"Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying at Villa Donna Rachele. The biggest issue was the AC, which was basically nonexistent during a HEAT WAVE. The rooms were extremely uncomfortable. We raised the issue, but maintenance was only offered after I stated that the lack of response would be reflected in my review—and even then, they offered to send someone on the day we were leaving. There were also ants everywhere, including in the bed. The jacuzzi was dirty, and the shower in the bedroom...

"Giovanni was an excellent host and made the check in process a breeze! I strongly recommend having him arrange the porter service for bringing up any rolling luggage bigger than a carry-on to the villa. Following the road is an easier walk than taking the stair shortcuts. At the end, there are approximately 207 steps to get to the villa. These are very doable normally, but carrying luggage will be a tiring endeavour. The property was clean, spacious and had a stunning view from both the front...

"O Hotel é excelente ! Quartos cômodos e bem arrumados, equipe preparada (falam várias línguas, inclusive português), tem transfer gratuito pra a Piazzeta (o que é muito bom quando se está em Marina Piccola), café da manhã muito bom e diverso. A ainda oferecem um shuttle num valor bem OK de ida e volta pra o Porto. Apontaria 2 coisas de atenção : 1- nas fotos, da-se a entender que tem estrutura de praia. Isso não existe. Você consegue tranquilamente caminhar até a praia, mas pra ter estrutura você tem que ficar em um Beach Club. Por ser caro, nos optamos por ficar da praia livre mesmo. Estender a toalha do hotel nas pedras e reverter o preço do Beach Club em comidas e bebidas. Não influenciou no final, mas isso poderia estar mais claro. 2- equipe do café da manha/ jantar um pouco ríspida. Acho que poderiam ser mais pacientes e educados."
