The large living area gathers you around the wood-burning stove, with plenty of space for socializing and games. The interior blends original details with thrift-store finds and newer furniture, maintaining a simple, informal style that fits the “simple living” philosophy behind the house.



The garden is surrounded by tall trees that provide privacy and shelter. The yard has natural soil, and the patio is partially covered, so you can sit outside most of the day regardless of the weather.



The beach in Færkervig is 350 m from the house. It’s a pebble beach, but with water shoes, it works just fine on warm days, and the cove is great for stand-up paddleboarding when the water is calm. On the island, you can take a trip to Langstedhuller to enjoy the stunning nature, have pancakes with ice cream at Herrens Mark, and stop by the thrift store.
