Located in the pedestrianised Old Town of Funchal, in the midst
of the restaurants and bars and close to the market, these very
spacious apartments are ideally located for those wishing to
explore Funchal. Surrounded by restaurants and bars, you will find
the market, cable car to Monte, main shopping areas, the marina and
sea promenade, and many other points of interest within a 10 minute
walk.

This apartment is located on a lower floor, so is more exposed to the movement of people and also to the hubbub coming from the restaurants and bars that are open until 02H00.

Part of a small block of 5 Apartments over three floors, this one-bedroomed apartment has an open-plan lounge and dining area for 4, with sofa bed (1,40m) flat-screen TV and digital channel box and free Wi-Fi. The separate kitchen is fully equipped, with a 4-ring hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee-machine and kettle. The apartment also has a washing machine, clothes horse, ironing board and iron. The separate bedroom features a king-size bed and is next to the shower-room with single washbasin, walk-in shower and toilet.

Nicely located in the pedestrian part of the city. Easy shopping possibilities. The apartment is clean and has a well equipped kitchen . The shower was low running and small.

Historic Funchal proper

Firstly, the location was fantastic, secondly the apartment was really nice and the manager did a great job communicating and making us comfortable. We understood that we could epect some evening noise ( the restaurants are just below the apartment) but to have the party go on til 230am was crazy. Had we been partiers maybe we would have joined inbut it sounded like the drum kit was at the end of the bed. Great location to eat out and 4 - 6 blocks to a large supermarket and Funchals historic vege/meat market. The pier is minutes away as is the cable car.ekit was at the end of and the manager

The apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped for a week. The staff in the office were polite and helpful. The area is lively during the day and evening with the hubbub of people chatting and eating and drinking. However, there is a bar across the road which plays unacceptably loud drum and base music from late night until 2 am, which we found unbearable on Friday Saturday and Sunday. If we had known, we wouldn’t have stayed here. Such a shame for the owners of the apartment who must be losing business with this antisocial music license in place.

appartement idéalement situé mais extrêmement bruyant

La qualité première de cet appartement est également son énorme défaut : sa situation géographique dans la ville. Il est proche de tout : des commerces, de la mer, des bus ... c'est très agréable. MAIS il est aussi dans la rue des restaurants, discothèques, bars. Il est donc réservé à des personnes aimant se coucher tard et faire la fête et surtout pas à des amoureux de la randonnée ayant besoin de se reposer.

Great location

The place is in a great location walking distance to lots of fun bars and restaurants. Keep that in mind because over the weekend the club next door was open until two in the morning. Luckily, we had earplugs so all was well.
