Ground floor spacious apartment near the old town of Funchal

Spacious and cozy apartment (over 100m2), located in a quiet residential area, close to Funchal's Old Town. It is the ideal place to discover Madeira: visit the center of Funchal on foot (it is a 15-minute walk to the Farmers' Market), drive to discover the Island (free parking available) or simply relax and sunbathe on the loungers in the apartment’s private garden.
Completely renovated, redecorated and re-equipped in March 2019.

The 2 bedroom apartment is all on the ground floor, with a private outside space facing South. Fully equipped to comfortably accommodate 5 people (up to a maximum of 7 people). In the solarium/garden you can sunbathe and take meals, enjoying some views of the bay and mountains of Funchal.

The host lives very close to the apartment and usually will be always available to greet guests and provide all information about the apartment and the surrounding area.

All information regarding arrival, routes and other data will be communicated to the guests as soon as they complete the reservation. You will be given an ideal route from the airport to the parking lot just in front of the apartment. And it will be arranged a time for personal key delivery.
The host (or a person of his trust) will always be available in case of an emergency, by phone contact or email.

The neighborhood was formerly an old Madeiran large villa that was later transformed into a residential area of villas and townhouses. It is a quiet area, dedicated only to private housing, the streets lined with walks overlooking the bay and the mountains of Funchal, and ample parking.

Public transportation (orange buses n.31 and 31A) pass at 100m from the apartment, on Caminho do Palheiro street, to the center of Funchal, and to the Botanical Garden.
You can also easily walk down to the Old Town and the Farmers' Market (about 10-15 min on foot).
There is always free public parking available, just in front of the apartment, across the street.
