"Great place to stay, but I'd recommend renting a car if staying at Bluebeard's. The hill is no joke, and nothing is as close a walk as it looks on Google maps. You can get pretty much anywhere on the island on 20 minutes, but be prepared from steep grades, hairpin turns, and skinny roads. Hotel itself has great views, and even offers a kitchenet (a pleasant surprise). Food at both bar/restaurants is very good, and the staff kicks ass. "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Camp grounds! This trip was a solo trip for me and I used it just for a little me time. Great place to relax and do exactly nothing. The cabin was nice and cozy. "This property has a stunning view of Red Hook and Vessup Bay, St John and other islands. The beds were comfortable; the kitchen has some dishes and cookware and a cooler that was very handy to take to the beach. You need a car with four wheel drive to get up the road to the property (road is steep and narrow). Close to the car ferry, and grocery stores, which is very convenient. We had a great time. "
