"When I arrived hot and tired, we checked in and looked at the room. The receptionist was receptive. She actually helped us get more towels when the laundry women got irate about her telling that the freezer door was coming off in our room. She told me I could push it outdoors to let it defrost.
Initially the beds were made. The bathroom had hair on the walls, floor of the shower. It was disturbing to put it mildly. The towels had stains so they were really unusable for anything but rags to...

"I normally do not leave reviews but this was advertised as exceptional and 9.2. While it was clean, it is very basic, older student style housing close to the UTRGV.
The surrounding dwellings are run down, and the area is certainly not good for more than just needing a place to crash for the night. "

"This was horrible I do not recommend they deserve 0 stars. I arrived couldn’t check it not that day nor the whole Weekend was there any type of communication to help. So I had to pay more to find a place to stay since it was last minute it was difficult to find something available. "

"The worse visit I have ever experienced in a stay. Dirty facility, unserviced room before arrival, uneducated staff for problem solving and unethical response by staff. Expedia isn’t responsible for this since I’ve had other stays with great experience, but it was the actual hotel WoodSpring that made it a horrible experience. Never going back to that chain, but will continue using Expedia for future bookings"
