"A very quaint and beautiful space! I imagined it to be like a little cottage in Italy; down the street from the vineyard. New, quality, well decorated place. The flower gardens were so beautiful. It was like a little gem in the middle of rolling, green hills. Loved every bit of this charming space!"

"Everything was what we expected. The statements about the driveway are accurate. The only cleanliness issue was the coffee maker had grounds left from previous user. Good selection of movies after a long day fishing. Kitchen had all that was necessary to cook and serve for 6 people dish soap was limited but dishwasher worked well. Gas grill worked well and had plenty of propane for grilling. Overall birthday weekend was a success. Thank you!"

"The cottage was very cute and well stocked with pots and pans and spices if you want to cook. The snacks and water were very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t mind the sound of the trains at night but the blowing train whistle woke us a few times. There are ear plugs there if needed. Unfortunately the lake was over grown with vegetation so we didn’t kayak, but we brought our own bikes and rode the Cannon Falls trail in MN. The trail was beautiful. The owner...

"I was looking for a quiet, relaxing, inspiring place to do some writing. The Pleasant Corner Schoolhouse was the absolute perfect spot! The host has thought of everything, making the space comfortable, beautiful, and unique. I can't wait to go back!"

"We loved our stay… cozy cabin with everything we needed. We are A Frame enthusiasts! We brought our own water for cooking and coffee just as a preference for purified water. "Took day trips to tour colleges with our oldest son, and this location worked great. Sparkling clean. Very quiet. What a view! We didn’t turn the TV on the whole time we were there because we just hung by the fire and enjoyed the view. Proximity to Red Wing, very convenient!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here! We went out on the canoe in the morning and it was so quiet and peaceful out there. The lake did get busier later in the afternoon with jet skiers and water skiers, people fishing etc. The ducks and chickens on the property were a nice surprise:) My son loved that. We will recommend this property to our friends and family!"

"We were there when it was snowing and later in the weekend when it was sunshiny and warm. We lit a fire in the wood burning stove and walked outside and enjoyed the labyrinth. We heard the coyotes yip and watched the hawks fly over the bluff. We braked for turkeys and deer. We also made the short trek into Red Wing for serious shopping and spent time at Lena’s. In short we loved it all!"
