"Host were great, very friendly and gave us the rundown and then left us for the entire stay to enjoy ourselves. Very private, and nature filled. Had a nice hike to the waterfall, still lovely even though the water wasn’t flowing because of the lack of rain. Spent our evenings in the screened in gazebo listening to the orchestra of frogs and insects. The kitchen was as described, as in had all the essential dishes you need, had a bbq. "This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. "

"We had a lovely time as a family sharing this beautiful vacation rental. The property is elegant and well-maintained, there is good climate control inside, and the beds are comfortable. The lake is crystal clear and pristine, and we did a lot of swimming and used the canoe and kayaks. Getting to the lake was easy for all but one of our group, who has mobility issues; access is down a long hill with a pea gravel path. Overall, it was a lovely cottage holiday and we would recommend it to friends. "

"We had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with this property. They call it a "Family Fun Lakehouse," but I would strongly disagree with that label.First, do NOT agree to any arrangements outside the Vrbo platform. If they call or message you directly, I highly recommend asking them to communicate through Vrbo only.
