Our family of 4 spent 9 days in this unit late December to early January. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the roominess of the unit and that there was covered parking under the lodge. As we were lucky enough to have snow many days, the covered parking was super convenient. There is even an elevator to take your luggage up the one level from the garage.
The Frisco location was convenient. Though it was just a moment away from I-70, it was very quiet. From here, we frequently drove to Breckenridge, taking about 20 minutes without traffic. When the weather was good, we would jump on 70 and head over to Vail which was only 30 minutes. We even went for a nice hike on the North Tenmile Creek Trail that is nearby. We also walked the 1/2 mile into the pleasant downtown Frisco area (try Bread and Salt for a delicious breakfast or lunch).
As the pandemic was still a concern, we ate our dinners in the unit. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for us to make most meals and bake some treats. The kitchen appeared to have been recently renovated with most of the appliances being new. The older dishwasher was not working when we arrived but Skyrun maintenance was able to fix this quickly.
My only complaint with this unit was that there was no place to hang anything in the master bedroom/bathroom. I generally like to hang a bunch of my clothes and jackets. In this unit, the owners have converted the master closet into a locked owners closet. The only hanging space, aside by the front door, is the closet in the second bedroom which was inconvenient.
I wouldn't hesitate to return to this unit for our next annual ski trip!
