"If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me."
"Great location in the heart of the Wachau. Accessible by public transport (715 bus from Krems or Melk and the Wachaubahn). Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. I can recommend the flammkuchen with their Pinot noir! "

"Certamente um dos melhores hotéis de lazer de toda a Áustria. Na beira do Rio, repleto de ambientes charmosos e luxuosos. Muito bom gosto e classe. Como era de se esperar, o atendimento é impecável. A frequência predominante, entretanto, é de idosos nativos. A minúscula Durstein, que "fecha" às 20:00 hrs (no verão!) contribui para isto. Serve de "retiro espiritual" ou como base para explorar a região (Krems, Meltz e todo o Vale do Danúbio)."
"Eine tolle Ferienwohnung, aus der wir gar nicht mehr ausziehen wollten. Viele liebevolle Details und eine tolle Ausstattung, alles was man braucht. Herrlich war auch der kleine eigene Garten, herrlich für ein Frühstück, für dass wir in der nahen Gleisserei viele leckere Zutaten fanden. Ein herrliches Fleckchen!"
"Great place to stay, extremelly clean, well arranged, friendly staff and ready to help. Very good restaurant, not too many options but they are changing the menu completelly on a daily basis! "We had a nice two night stay in the hotel. The room was big enough for our stay with comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor pool and the roof bar. We could rent bikes for a day to explore the area and cycle along Danube river. The breakfast was amazing with great selection. Reception staff was very helpful. The only negative is that the outside parking doesn’t have enough spaces for such big hotel, there is a big underground carpark for €16 a day which we thought it’s quite a lot and we thought...
