It is all about location in this spacious, two level vacation rental home with views of Roche Harbor Resort and Marina. Just walk off the lower level deck onto a foot path by the shoreline that leads to the historic Resort to enjoy both fine and casual dining as well as the convenience of a grocery store, post office, moped rentals, marina, spa, kid's pool, and airstrip.

The main level of the home contains an open kitchen, dining area, living room with wood burning fireplace, two bedrooms with queen-sized beds, and a shared bath with shower/tub. On the lower level you will find a rumpus room with a pool table, wood stove, piano, pull out queen sleeper sofa, and a third bedroom with two twin beds. There is also a sliding glass door leading to a covered exterior deck for viewing the boats and islands beyond. In addition, there is a convenient bathroom on the lower level that offers a shower.

PLEASE BE ADVISED. Parties are not permitted under any circumstances and the guest occupancy limit will be strictly enforced during your stay. This home is people friendly, and not pet friendly.

Conveniently located view property

This older home has a great location and beautiful view of the bay. It was easy to walk to Roche Harbor Marina for all the Fourth of July festivities. The home fit our family of five perfectly.

Beautiful spot great for a family getaway

Beautiful location an easy walk into roche harbor and the sculpture garden with a great view. Plenty of room and comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating and communicated promptly. An older property with older fixtures and appliances, but everything in working order. Thank you!!

Well lived in nice view!

Fantastic Home for a Fantastic Week

The location is perfect. We loved watching the boats and wildlife and we loved our daily walks to the harbor. Walking distance to several ‘must see’ spots on the island. The house is older, not updated, and the listing is very-front about that. It was clean and had the essentials we needed for a wonderful week together as a family.

Roche Harbor Vacation

The location couldn’t be any better. The host was very responsive too. Cooling down the upper level was a bit difficult. We really enjoyed our stay though.

Nice house with a great location

The house is older, but clean and comfy. The location is great - view of harbor and walkable to Roche Harbor. Some maintenance and upgrades to interior would be nice.

Great Location & Great Views

Lovely property manager who was very responsive and friendly. The house is huge specially with the entire downstairs. Great location with easy walk to Roche Harbor. Great Views of the harbor but no water access. Only thing to improve on was leaving windows open as there was an overwhelming musty smell when we first walked in. Would definitely stay there again.

House in bad shape

We walked in and we’re hit by a stench that never left. The deck screen door was wide open. But the view was so so beautiful ! So we wanted to have a seat and enjoy it. All the deck chairs are in terrible shape- you can’t sit there. The furniture is so worn that you literally fall in. Otherwise, the beds were comfy and the upstairs bath was clean and roomy. We think a good shag carpet cleaning is needed and the deck chairs replaced. That would show the guests you care

Like Being at Grandma's House

I'll admit I was hesitant to stay here after reading previous reviews but with a budget and limited options, this is what we landed on. So happy we did because it was great for our needs. 4 adults stayed here and it had everything we needed. Yes, it is old and well loved but that's what gives it charm in our opinion. It was like stepping back in time and staying at your grandparent's house, except here you get stunning views of the harbor, and get to watch deer and all sorts of wildlife. The beds were all very comfortable and having the pool table was fun. You can walk to Roche Harbor, bike ride right from the house, walk to the mausoleum, and more. Great location and would come back again!

Great Area

Best aspect of this stay was the area. If you don't want to be right in the action but close enough to walk, this is it. Great view and very relaxing. Had some issues with communicating with the property manager during our stay but those issues have been resolved. Overall would highly recommend staying here.

Good Multi Families Home

The view from the house is amazing and closeness to Roche, Playground and Pool is perfect for families. Split level means the children have an area to play separate from adults. House is older, so don't expect perfection. Kitchen is well stocked, but downstairs is very musty and carpets need replacing throughout dirty and very worn, wood would be better. The on line listing was a little incorrect, obviously photos were taken many years ago when things looked fresh and newer. The overgrown back was resolved after complaining. The Property managers are very helpful and easy to work with. If house gets some upgrades we will return.
