"This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!!"

"Check in was easy. We just had to stop at the first cabin to check in, and the owner then met us at the cabin we were staying and showed us around. Kitchen was cute and cozy located in the original portion of the cabin with all the essentials. "We enjoyed our stay the house was clean and well stocked with all the needed kitchen supplies for the cooks of our group. We loved the beach area and playing in the water. I do have to admit all the stairs were a little rough for this 50 group but overall, we had a great time exploring the area. "

"We had a nice experience staying here. Don was very kind and friendly.. he supplied all the amenities you’d be looking for except for TV and Wi-Fi. The cabin was very well maintained and clean. He had a stack of firewood with fire starters If you want to have a fire, there was a grill available upon request. It’s only 10 minutes from Baldwin. It’s a great jump off point for going to places like Leland Traverse City. We took a day and drove up M22 . We enjoyed exploring Michigan. I would rent it...

"The Eagle’s Nest was an awesome place to stay for a week! The Blue Heron property was immaculate. The network of stairways was fun for our youngest to play hide and seek on. Three docks to fish from and plenty of beachfront. Even on the hottest days we could still find shade on the beach. The lake was great, not busy. 7 of us stayed and we were comfortable. Way worth the trip!"

"We really liked this rental. We came on a Saturday and it was pretty busy with the neighbors but things calmed down over the week which was nice. The screened porch was great and we used it a lot. One thing to be aware of which is not a criticism it's just how it is, that the swimming platform in front of the property is not owned by the property (it's been upgraded from the pictures in the listing and there are two diving boards on it and it's really nice).
