"This is my first 50/50 review of a resort. I usually stay at RIU resorts since I’m a RIU member, but because I was traveling with a minor, we couldn’t stay at the RIU in the Bahamas.
The location is great only 20–25 minutes from the airport, and a taxi for two cost about $40. Check-in was pleasant, but the rooms were disappointing. My first room, 2211, looked nice at first, but paint was peeling, the bathroom smelled humid and rusty, and the balcony door was almost impossible to open. I was...

"The property is nice , staff is excellent. But
during my stay the hotel had a room key issue and we had to be let in our room with security or maintenance. To our surprised the room was broken into to by an employee. Nothing serious was stolen but we felt very violated and the hotel dealt with us as if we we're the perpetrators.
For that reason I won't stay there again, but it's a very nice property."
