The house is walking distance to best part of surfside beach no car access beach

4 bedrooms . 3 bathrooms
The first floor has a rooms first one has king bed and the other has 2 bunker beds.
Living room and kitchen .
Plenty of room for the family to get together
Secound floor has 2 bed rooms each one has its own bathroom . One of them is king and the other is queen and all of the beds has very comfortable mattress for good time sleep after long day of playing on the sand

Under the house has planets of place for parking
Private shower to get the sand out before you head to the house

Overall it was a good place. Hurricane hit 3 weeks ago and the neighborhood was extremely trashy. Hopefully they get it cleaned up soon. The road in front of house was flooded . The cleanliness of the house was fair. . Kitchen sinks were dirty. Beds were not completely made. All towells were stuffed in dryer and were not dry. No internet due to storm. AC froze up. I did speak with owner and he told me what to do about AC and he stated he would give me 1/2 of my cost back due to the inconvenience. Will see when I get my next statement. If we had internet I would stay again. made made

VERY CLOSE

It was nice to stay so close to water without direct access. Very short walk kids could go back or come out with a chaperone (all over 10). Made meals easy to handle wihtout having to pack up for the day. Other than Hurricane Beryl chasing us out!

The house was the perfect size for the 12 of us. We came right after a tropical storm and Surfside had shut the water off. Other than not having enough toilet paper or no being able to find the sink stopper. We really didn’t have any issues. Perfect location.

The rental was better than expected. It was clean and had most amenities. The seating in the lounge was awkward but, otherwise great place to stay.

Perfect Location, perfect house for a big family!

We loved this house! The walk to the beach was closer than we thought it would be. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook which we loved. The beds were TOO comfortable. No one ever wanted to get out of bed. 10/10 would stay here again!

Great Place & Great Management/Employees

We did a long weekend stay in June, right in the heat of the summer, and this place was great! Plenty of room for everyone and well-maintained even in the coastal air! The beach is VERY close and that was a huge benefit. Most of all though, one of our guests left their cell phone behind and didn't notice until we were 4 hours away. Management was very responsive and the employee who cleaned up found it, contacted us, and even shipped the cell phone (next day delivery) to him. OUTSTANDING customer service and we would recommend them to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Great Beach House

Great beach house with access to pedestrian beach. House is not directly on the beach, but it is a straight shot to the beach and a very, very short walk. You can also pull your vehicle up to the beach entrance to unload stuff if you need to. We werent sure if we would like the pedestrian beach or not, but we actually enjoyed the fact that we didnt have to worry about cars going down the beach and kids getting ran over. It was also way less crowded because it was a pedestrian beach. House was clean, well priced and owner was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Great getaway.

What a wonderful weekend!! House was walking distance to the beach, very clean, well laid out, very responsive to questions during the weekend, over all GREAT stay. We will be back!! There were 8 adults during our stay and plenty of room for all of us!!!

Okay… but

If you are wanting to be close to beach, this house is that. The beds are comfy and ac works great. There were several cons to the house for us. The patio furniture/ picnic table was all pretty much falling apart, the fridge was empty but was dirty and had to be wiped out before we could put our stuff in, the upstairs rooms have deck access but the doors have no blinds/cover so no privacy especially at night and rooms do not get dark bc all the light coming in from street lights, no dish towels to use in the kitchen, the brooms need to be replaced and the wash machine was broke but didn’t find out until we tried to use (per owner this is being fixed once part is received). The owner was very responsive prior to rental but was a bit unresponsive during our stay, but he did apologize for his delayed response and allowed us a late checkout.

Family gathering ruined by nasty smell in kitchen

This property is located in perfect spot if you want to go walk to the beach in the day and go walk to the bar at night. The house smelled horrible, and the owner needs to fix the leak underneath the kitchen sink. Something is rotten which is causing the entire downstairs to smell dead fish. I think I would have given more stars had it not smelled like death in there. The beds upstairs were very comfy, but the king downstairs was sucked, it was not comfortable and it squeezed at even the slightest move. The need to replace the bed frame in my opinion. The didn’t supply laundry soap or dryer sheets, and minimal other cleaning supplies. So if you are staying for more then a few days plan on bringing or buying cleaning products. It gets sandy so would have been nice if there was a vacuum because the crappy broom didn’t work on sweeping the sand up. The upstairs closet had dirty sheets on the floor when we got there, which was weird to me. Overall not a bad property, but will never consider booking it again. I hope the work on locating the source of the terrible fish smell coming from underneath the kitchen sink.

Great property & super close to the beach!

We had a great stay at this house. There are two bedrooms with en suites upstairs and two bedrooms with the main bath downstairs. Plenty of space for our group of 10 on our annual family vacation and just steps to the beach. The AC worked great!! And no problems with running out of hot water with all 3 showers running consecutively and plenty of towels. Amazing time and the property owner, Alex, was easy to work with and very responsive.
