"We’ve been coming to Lake Gaston for many many years but this was a first at this house. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable house we have ever rented. House was very well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space for storage and lounging. Our only complaint was the water space off the dock was pretty overrun by grass and weeds. We easily rectified that by going out on a pontoon for our swims. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this wonderful home again. Thank you for having us!!"

"I had an amazing experience at this Slice of Heaven. The neighborhood is very quiet and serene. The house is extremely inviting and comfortable with lots of extra touches from the hosts. I slept like a baby and enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise on the screened back porch overlooking the lake. The view was unforgettable and breathtaking. I wish I could have stayed longer.This will be my preferred home any time I'm in the area!"

I sat on the large porch in the mornings with my coffee, and it was very peaceful and enjoyable. But as the morning wears on, the sun goes overhead and the entire porch becomes too hot to use. Unfortunately, the porch on the other side of the house isn't better in the afternoons since the "roof" is translucent and therefore doesn't provide...

"The house was great! It was very spacious for the 10 of us and very clean! The game was a great bonus that everyone had so much fun with. The boat dock was great for kayaking and tubing. The creek was so peaceful to kayak on. We rented a boat for one of the days at a near by marina and had an awesome day on Lake Gaston tubing and swimming. There was great restaurants near by and the Food Lion was very close for a dinner at home on the grill. Very nice shopping down town Littleton with a great...

Everything about it was great, house had everything we needed as far as kitchen, entertainment etc. we brought our boat and tied up to the dock with no issues, private cove in a no wake zone which was very nice. "We are a group of 9 that were in town for a baseball tournament in Roanoke Rapids. The house was a quick 25 minutes to the ball field. While the rest of the team was crammed around a hotel pool, we were relaxing in the lake. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was spacious to cook and had all necessary supplies and even spices. When our tournament ran late, the owners were super responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
