"This was our second visit to the lodges and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spotless, good shower and plenty of sockets. The breakfast to go is a bonus and filling. There’s a lovely courtyard which we used to sit out and have supper. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life this is the place to come and unwind. The host was friendly and gave us suggestions of places to visit. Will definitely go back again."

"This is my second time staying at The George. Whilst it may be a little tired round the edges, and not the most polished of places to stay. It does have very friendly staff, and does serve great beer! I'm sure I will be back again next time I am working in the area. I would rather stay in a 'real pub' than a modern over polished replica like many pubs have become these days. "This is a lovely hotel, we found the parking a little awkward and the food and drink wasn’t quite up to standard but nice enough. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms and staff nice and friendly. Did not like the wine here though :("

"Very clean property and the pud is great for food"

"Nice hotel, rooms are big for English standards and very close to supermarket, shops, etc. Parking is not free but was charged only 5GBP for day, so that was ok. The only downside was that we were traveling with a lot of bags and they do not have an elevator, anyway, they have only 2 floors so we had to go only one flour up. Overall nice stay with no issues."

No quarto 19 a separacao entre quartos e feita com pladour e tive que abandonar o hotel a 1 da manha devido a ouvir-se o ocupante do quarto ao lado a ressonar. Mesmo apos varios avisos o ruido do ressonar era tao alto abandonei o hotel. Os quartos nao tem separacao acustica uns dos outros."

"Beautiful hall and surroundings. Dinner was excellent. My room was spacious and clean. The staff make this place amazing, they are all so lovely. Solveiga stood out the most, I was lucky enough to have her check me in and out and she is honestly the most wonderful person. I hope she gets the credit she deserves."

"Bed was lovely and comfortable. Room was very nice. Struggling to get in and out of the shower. Staff on the whole were lovely but felt there was an atmosphere of discontentment amongst staff. Food expensive with service charge added without giving us the opportunity to say no. Rats running around the skip outside. Needs a general paint job outside. Leaving on a positive the breakfast was lovely."

"Thank you for an Absolutely a fantastic stay, the room is a good size with every amenity and extra luxury touches, you want for nothing. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked well and fresh and plenty. The bed is huge and soft. And the hosts themselves couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome Would definitely stay again"

"Almost everything about this stay was excellent. I would say that some of the interior is in need of maintenance (sagging floors) and one bathroom was tight spacing. The parking was not available but we were able to get parking nearby."
