Perfect location for your getaway! 2 King Bedrooms with 2 On-Suite Baths. Enjoy the views and wildlife from the porch in the mornings (deer, birds, butterflies), and the epic sunsets and stars from the hot tub or fire pit in the evenings, while still being close to the shopping, restaurants and nightlife in town. Fully renovated and comfortably furnished, this open concept 2Bd/2Bth 1930's farmhouse sits on 5 acres in the center of it all. This red door darling is 3 miles from Main to the right (west) and 3 miles from the wineries on 290 to the left (east) and has fully equipped kitchen and a comfy living space with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. House and grounds are pet-friendly but not child-friendly so kiddo's must be 15 yrs or older. FYI: Because of the rural location driveway cameras are in use to assist us with guest arrivals and departures.

1. Observe the neighbor friendly quiet hours by keeping noise to a minimum after 10 p.m.
2. Observe the designated on site parking.

Tara was a fantastic host! The property has everything needed for a quiet weekend. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils needed to create a gourmet meal. The hot tub was a perfect addition after a hike at Enchanted Rock or a day of shopping. The property even included bicycles and helmets to take advantage of the wonderful outdoors. We loved rocking on the front porch watching the birds at the feeders and the cattle in the distance. I highly recommend this property. The hostess even provided a lovely cake and sparkling wine when I told her we were celebrating our 30th anniversary. Thank you for making this a wonderful weekend Tara!

This is a wonderful property with thoughtful amenities throughout the home. We (2 couples) enjoyed the easy access to Fredericksburg and Hye! The host was kind enough to offer a variety of snacks and many other useful items during our stay. We loved the quiet surroundings! We hope to return soon!

The house was very friendly, the house was equipped with anything and everything we needed kind of amazing. The location was perfect for us. We live on an acreage in OKLAHOMA and preferred not to be in a hotel or houses hip hip hip. My office in Oklahoma City is in a building is built in 1940s, I really appreciate old buildings and especially well. Kept old buildings. We had a fantastic time.

We love the fact this place is outside of town away from the noise and gives you the peace and quiet we need at times. Is approximately 10 minutes away from town so is close enough to go get groceries or shopping. Tara was more than awesome welcoming us to her place. The house is well equipped with everything you need inside and outside. It looks amazing inside, especially as it was decorated for the season. Tara had complementary candies, snaks, chocolates and a bottle of wine in the refrigerator upon our arrival. Everything was just amazing, hot tub outside was awesome, front porch sitting area super enjoyable along with BBQ pit, outside patio furniture and inise it has the lovely romantic cozy chimney.

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was cozy, spotless, and beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel extra special. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy—such a thoughtful touch. The hot tub was perfect for the cold weather, and our dogs absolutely loved having the fenced-in yard to roam and hang out in. Overall, a perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

Our host was amazing! The home was incredible from the cleanliness to the calming and beautiful decor! Not only was the inside impeccably clean, so was the grounds. Everything is so carefully thought out. Everything you need away from home is there. Solid instructions are easily found for any possible questions you may have. And communication with our host was great and responds very promptly. Lighting to welcome us in for our late arrival was nice for security and safety. This host thinks of everything as though you are part of the family. Stay! You won't regret an excellent relaxing home!

The property was beautiful and clean. Everything looked exactly like the pictures. Great location halfway between Fredericksburg and the wineries along US 290. The house was stocked with everything you could need for a most enjoyable stay. Numerous places to sit outside and watch the local wildlife. Especially enjoyed using the hot tub at night while gazing at the stars. Appreciated the owner's willingness to help with a last minute scheduling change. We'll be back!

House is just picture perfect and spotless. Perfect for relaxing and watching birds, deer and butterflies. Has a fireplace and firepit but wasn't weather for that. Far enough out of town to be peaceful but close enough to be easy to get to everything. Tara supplies all kind of little "extras" including a birthday cake for me. Our second time to rent. You won't be disappointed!!

The house and location is wonderful and very peaceful. It was a short drive to everything we wanted to do. The house has everything you could need in the kitchen. More than enough towels in the bathrooms. The snacks that were there for us when we arrived was such a nice touch. My favorite thing to do after a day of exploring was sitting on the front porch rockers watching the butterflies, hummingbirds, and deer.

Relaxing!

The property was very well cared for and clean! Enjoyed a bike ride and hot tub. The only reason gave 4 stars and not 5 was because of the hot water issues. We did as instructed, however I was still not able to get hot water during my shower. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay! I do recommend.

Charming country cottage

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. Kitchen is very well stocked, as well as the entire cottage actually. Owner left little niceties for us at checkin. We really enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds, deer and wild turkeys that passed through the property each day. We found this cottage to be a very comfortable place to stay.

Amazing

Felt like home so comfortable. Everything you could imagine was thought of she even left a surprise to help us celebrate our 42 anniversary. Even texted me to make sure we didnt need anything. And the location was perfect.Definitly will stay here again.

Hidden Gem

The property was absolutely amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. The attention to detail and decor is what makes this house a must stay. Everything you need is there and there is never a need to leave. The sun rises on the side of the bedrooms and sets on the side of the living room. The property manager is amazing and very responsive. This is now our place to stay while in Fredericksburg. The only negative I have, is having to leave.

Fantastic place

We enjoyed the stay. House was fully stocked with everything you could need and then some. Enjoyed the fireplace, fire pit, and hot tub. Plenty of out door areas to sit and relax and watch the sun come up or go down. Will be booking again on our next visit

Everything was so clean and they absolutely thought of everything! We were greeted with a sweet little welcome card, some cookies and a bottle of prosecco! The host was so accommodating! This is our new spot Everytime we come and visit now.

Valentines weekend 2025

Absolutely wonderful stay. They have done a great job with the decor and amenities. The outside had everything you need for a couples retreat as well as the inside. Very quiet and peaceful. Host is very responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had everything needed to enjoy our stay. She even had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for valentines weekend in the frig! We are already talking about when we will be back!

Perfect Getaway!!!

This place covers it all. They have everything you need for a weekend getaway. By far the best place we have stayed in with everything needed to enjoy. It is stocked and ready with all the amenities you need. Love having a fire pit to sit at and watch deer at the feeder, or soak in the hot tub and watch the deer walk by. When you are ready for dinner they have everything you need to cook up a nice meal. Couldn't ask for anything more at this place!!! Our 2nd stay here and we will be back!!!
