This beautifully restored rock home is situated on 5 acres and approximately 3 miles from the heart of Fredericksburg making it a perfect location where you can get out and enjoy all Fredericksburg has to offer including the wineries, historic buildings, restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and wine tasting rooms which line the quaint downtown street or stay at home enjoying a glass of wine, and taking in the amazing view of the hill country relaxing in the private hot tub. Set amid five rolling acres and a seasonal creek winding its way through the property among mature trees, the serenity the property offers makes you feel like you’re even more remote. Enjoy the peace of being nestled in the tranquil Hill Country while still benefitting from the convenience of being just minutes away from some of this town’s greatest attractions.
Upon entering this charming lodge, you will be greeted by a stunning two-story fireplace in the great room, perfect for setting a cozy ambiance in the evenings, and the soaring cathedral ceilings make the great room a spacious living space for time spent together. The home has reclaimed wood floors throughout the house sourced from old horse track & tobacco barns in Kentucky, and the floors in the bedrooms are hand scraped hickory! Careful attention has clearly been paid to the restoration of this gem of a home.
This home can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. The first master bedroom boasts a spacious king bed and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and a jetted whirlpool tub. The second master bedroom downstairs also has a king bed with attached bathroom which has a walk-in in shower and separate tub, and the third bedroom/loft area upstairs offers a queen bed and full bathroom. A queen and twin sofa sleeper is provided in the loft area upstairs if extra sleeping accommodations are needed.
On the home’s back deck you will find a private hot tub overlooking the secluded acreage and creek where you may spot deer grazing at the feeder. A patio with barbeque grill provides more opportunities for spending time outside in this fabulous setting. There is also a firepit in the backyard where you may gather with your friends to drink wine, relax, and play washers or cornhole. With easy access to downtown Fredericksburg, Enchanted Rock, and hiking and biking activities, this vacation home has so much to offer in Fredericksburg’s gorgeous Hill Country!

****Home is not baby/toddler proof. Not suitable for people unable to climb stairs.

***No exceptions will be made for our strict no pets policy. This includes no service pets. If renters bring pets they will be asked to leave the property upon arrival. If pets discovered post arrival renters will be charged a $1000 fine.
