This home is beautiful, spotless, comfortable & private. The large deck out back is perfect. We saw several deer, morning & evenings, squirrels, lizards, hummingbirds, cardinals, a lg fox and even a wild pig. Everything we needed and then some was provided. This was a much needed trip & the host did not disappoint! Thank you for sharing this home with us, we did not want to leave.

Much needed break made special with such a wonderful place to stay. Loved being able to make breakfast before hiking everyday and returning to relaxing comfortable place. Wish we couldā€™ve stayed longer

This property was truly exceptional - great attention to detail, loved the space and ability to lounge and relax. We loved the deer/deer feeder and observing them each day. Great star-gazing, close to town - cannot wait to go back. Just truly special, well-appointed. Just loved it!!!

We had a wonderful time at this idyllic property! It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We loved sitting on the back porch for sunrises and sunsets with the wildlife. It was perfect in every way. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

We all needed some time away and this was just the place. It was away from everything. But easy to get to what we needed. Enjoying coffee and watching the birds and deer were the highlight of our trip. Perfect house for our trip.

Property was perfectly curated. Everything you need was there without being overcrowded with stuff. Wildlife was amazing with extras for them during our stay. Everything was high quality and we felt right at home. This stay was truly better than all my previous VRBO picks. Highly recommend.

Pros: beautiful home and property. Peaceful with hummingbirds everywhere and deer coming to the feeder Cons: about 10 minutes to downtown, opposite direction from wineries Issues: guessing that batteries are not changed in the smoke detectors each yearā€¦they went off all night and the one that needed to come down was too high to reach. They werenā€™t just chirping, they were actually going off so we did not get a lot of sleep that night. Called the 24 hour management line and didnā€™t receive a call back until the next afternoon. Internet also did not work the last day of our stay. Called the number and no one came out.

US290 wasn't far away, but we never heard a sound. The deer feeder had visitors every day, and once I filled the hummingbird feeders (from the juice provided) they were mobbed. Great house, perfect for 2 adult couples, comfortable furniture, nice TV setup, nice kitchen, and the beds were great.

The property was in the country. Stargazing was amazing! Bird feeders and deer feeders kept the wildlife up close. The home was beautiful and perfectly stocked! It was everything we hoped for!

I was souring on staying in rental homes until this one redeemed my confidence. The location and home was stunning, but more than that was all the attention to detail. An abundance of towels and small supplies we all need when we are away from home was everywhere in the house. The check out procedure was uncomplicated and made what is a stressful time easy. On top of all that, the house was exceptionally clean. Iā€™d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing place! The house itself is beautiful, with a modern country charm and all amenities needed. The back porch was certainly our favorite - we couldn't get enough of the family of deer visiting frequently, the hummingbirds and the butterflies and the epic star gazing! Would definitely return. Located just outside town for a peaceful getaway but close to restaurants and activities.

We were in Fredericksburg only 2 days, but could easily have stayed 2 weeks at this location and been so very comfortable. Property was very clean, check in so very simple and house is ina wonderful spot.

Canā€™t say enough good things. We selected a filter for a place with a fireplace. We even asked if they provided wood and they responded that they did not and we stated we would bring our own. When we arrived the wood burning stove has a sign that stated - It is not a working stove. The manual stated to not use it. Please correct the listing. Other than that it is a 10.

Property and home were beautiful and peaceful. Clean and well supplied. Only complaint is the listing on VRBO showed the property close to town on the map but it was actually a 15 minute drive from Fredericksburg. Otherwise would definitely stay again.
