The cabin was very clean and stocked with what we needed. At check in the temp of the cabin was set at 76 degrees and with the heat of the day, it took 24 hours for the AC to catch up making our first night of sleep uncomfortable. By closing all the blinds and keeping the temp set at a constant 70, we were able to keep the cabin comfortable for the remaining two nights. I would suggest lowering the temp on the morning of guest check-in in the future. The location of the cabin and property was great. We were able to have the peace and quiet in nature and still enjoy the towns of Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, comfort, and Kerrville. The property is well-maintained though we missed having the lights on the gazebo in the evenings. That would’ve been quite beautiful. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Past Guests commented on some additional perks offered by the previous owners in the journal found in the cabin. It might be nice if the new owners added that to future stays. WIFI is not available at God‘s country Cabins, so be prepared if you have the need to work during the day. Having your own hotspot works great for those who are on call 24/7. The Faith Cabin sits with afternoon sun, so the porch is not an option in the heat of the day, but beautiful in the mornings and evenings. If you are looking to get out of town for a natural peaceful stay, God‘s country cabins might be great for you. We look forward to visiting again one day in the future.
