God's Country Cabin- Faith I Country Retreat

Come, sit, and relax on the porch of one of our newly built cabins. Take in the fresh air and enjoy the countryside views, wildlife, farm animals, and breathtaking sunsets. Our four cabins, Faith, Hope, Mercy, and Grace, each feature their own rustic/elegant style and charm. All the cabins sleep two on a king sized bed with luxurious sheets and bedding, while the bathrooms each feature a large shower and copper sink.

The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator and microwave oven along with a full size coffee maker with teas and other goodies.

We have a beautiful gazebo outside in the common area with a charcoal grill and a large table to gather around and enjoy the country life. Don't forget to bring charcoal and something to grill!

Our cabin, Hope, has an outdoor shower to enjoy along with a private deck with lounge chairs in the back to sit and relax. The stars are amazing at night from this deck view. THIS OPTION IS ONLY FOR HOPE GUESTS!

We are out in the country but only 6 miles from Fredericksburg where you can walk down Main Street, shop, eat wonderful food, check out the wineries, or even learn a bit of history at the Admiral Nimitz museum. Marktplatz on Main St. is where most of Fredericksburg's sought-after events take place.

Our stay was fantastic. Pictures accurately depicted rooms. Quiet, peaceful and clean!! Charming little getaway. We did have to call the after hours number and they quickly and cheerfully returned our call. Great place to stay and we will be back!!

We had a very nice stay at this cabin. It was nice and peaceful, which is exactly what we wanted. The cellular reception was spotty at best, and the lack of printed instructions meant we didn't get "departure instructions" of what we were supposed to do before leaving until after we left. I don't know if that was an issue, but I felt it was out of our control. There were a couple of very minor issues: the remote for the television had dead batteries, and the toilet seat was loose-I tightened it, afraid it was going to fall off. Overall, the trip was very restorative, and we enjoyed it. The setting is pastoral and beautiful. We will definitely consider returning the next time we take a trip to Fredericksburg!

The cabin was very clean and stocked with what we needed. At check in the temp of the cabin was set at 76 degrees and with the heat of the day, it took 24 hours for the AC to catch up making our first night of sleep uncomfortable. By closing all the blinds and keeping the temp set at a constant 70, we were able to keep the cabin comfortable for the remaining two nights. I would suggest lowering the temp on the morning of guest check-in in the future. The location of the cabin and property was great. We were able to have the peace and quiet in nature and still enjoy the towns of Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, comfort, and Kerrville. The property is well-maintained though we missed having the lights on the gazebo in the evenings. That would’ve been quite beautiful. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Past Guests commented on some additional perks offered by the previous owners in the journal found in the cabin. It might be nice if the new owners added that to future stays. WIFI is not available at God‘s country Cabins, so be prepared if you have the need to work during the day. Having your own hotspot works great for those who are on call 24/7. The Faith Cabin sits with afternoon sun, so the porch is not an option in the heat of the day, but beautiful in the mornings and evenings. If you are looking to get out of town for a natural peaceful stay, God‘s country cabins might be great for you. We look forward to visiting again one day in the future.

Comfortable and inviting country cabin

God's Country Cabins are away from town on a country road with little traffic, making for a very relaxing stay. We enjoyed the quiet, spending time on the porch watching the cattle and deer. It's away from the hustle and bustle of town but only about 10 minutes to Fredericksburg for shopping or dining. Our cabin was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The only downside is the lack of WiFi, but we knew that going in. I highly recommend these cabins and would definitely stay there again.

Quaint little cabin

We enjoyed our stay in the Faith Cabin. The location was convenient, far enough out of town but not too far. The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable for me and my husband. Our only complaint was the lack of heating. The main living area and bathroom were cold while the bedroom stayed too hot.

Weekend Getaway

We have stayed at this property numerous times and will continue to return. This is by far our favorite place to stay! It is quiet and away from the crowds of Fredericksburg (only about a 10 min drive). The cabin is always clean and well maintained, and the hosts are very gracious. Highly recommend these cabins!

This is a perfect place for a weekend getaway. It is close to Fredericksburg so you don’t miss out on any of the fun but out in the country so you can enjoy the quiet Hill Country.

Absolutely God's Country

This was the most precious cabin for 2 that we have ever seen. It was an easy check in process, clean when arrived and gated area with 3 other cabins. I would highly suggest staying here for a couple's getaway. We will definitely be coming back to stay here.

One of a Kind!

Such a great place to stay! The check in/out process was very easy. The cabin was exceptional. Very clean and cozy. The owners provided cookies, snacks, and drinks. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. It's an easy drive from Fredericksburg and the wineries along 290. I would definitely stay again!
