Bird Point Cabin sits right on the edge of town, making this the perfect cabin for a Hill Country Getaway! From the moment you pull into the driveway you'll know you're in for a relaxing vacation. Whether you cozy up by the fireplace or stretch out in the king size bed and enjoy a movie night in, or perhaps cooking a special dinner for two, all the comforts of home can be found once you set foot inside. AND we have'nt even mentioned the incredible hot tub right outside your bedroom on the back deck!!! If relaxation is calling your name, come stay with us at Bird Point Cabin!
Please Note: Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Raccoons, Squirrels, Possum, Birds (including Hawks), ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night, and supervise your children at all times while they are outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests, wildlife, or bugs will not be visible. This includes but is not limited to: ants, snakes, spiders, scorpions, beetles/roaches/water-bugs, mice, or flies.

This was the perfect place! We loved that it was surrounded by trees making it feel secluded in the neighborhood. We enjoyed watching the deer every day/evening too. The hot tub was nice and the games left for us made evenings fun. It was such a nice get away, and I hope to be back soon!

This was a great weekend getaway. Seen plenty of deer like clockwork. Every morning, midday and night. 18 at one time. Very close to main street was a great thing. I will definitely try to come back here.

Perfect Secluded Get-Away

Our first impressions of this property were more than we expected. If you enjoy a quiet, private stay, yet close enough to go into town easily, than this place would be a perfect fit. The layout of the cabin and the location of the hot tub on the back patio makes it private and comfortable. I would absolutely love to come back again.

Perfect private getaway

We lived this cabin tucked into the Texas Hill Country. When we arrived deer were scattered all around grazing in the afternoon sun. The cabin had everything we needed to have a quiet anniversary getaway!!! We enjoyed the hot tub one evening which was super private on the back porch!!! We will recommend to friends and would love to come back ourselves!!!!!

Beautiful Place

This place was awesome! We enjoyed watching the deer while we were here. This place was close enough to town that when we needed more paper towels or trash bags we could easily go get more. I highly recommend this place.

Windows dirty. Cobwebs also. Needs some small minor repairs (cabinet door, tile in shower etc) and cleaning and would be perfect. Great location. Lots of deer. Private setting. Reasonable price. Shower tub a little hard to get in and out of.A walk in shower would be better. Driveway could be better. Would definately come back again.

Hidden Cabin getaway

Beautiful cozy relaxing cabin, beautiful stone & wood accents. The Jacuzzi was great. We purchased a bag of deer corn to feed the deer. Close to all the restaurants & downtown. Would definitely stay again.

2024 Eclipse Visit

It could not have been better. My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend in Fredericksburg for the 2024 Eclipse. We stayed at the Bird Point Cabin. The location is close enough to town not to feel far, but far enough to feel secluded and private. We really enjoyed our daily wildlife visitors, and I believe the deer really enjoyed the feed we provided. The house was very comfortable and we found everything we needed.

The house was awesome. Vrbo didn't handle my reservation properly i ask for two nights and they only signed me up for one night. Caused lot of confusion. And had to find somewhere else to stay for the second night. Very unhappy with vrbo at this point.

Amazing romantic stay

The perfect getaway house for my wife and I. Loved being secluded in the woods with deer around us. The house was gorgeous with a rustic feel that really immerses you. We loved the hot tub in the back with the privacy of the woods. We will definitely be coming back

The coffee pot did not work. Would have loved to drink coffee in the mornings while watching the deer. The can opener was broken. The kitchen window sill was full of dead flies! The views were stunning. The hot tub was very relaxing. The neighbor felt very safe.

When we arrived, the AC was not working property owner worked diligently to get it up and running by the second day. The cleaning fee is not being utilized by the property owner.

Excellent Romantic getaway

My wife and I stayed 4 days here for our 25 yr anniversary. 25 years is an exceptional number so you want something special you know! We were blown away by the settings of this cabin. It was beautiful all the way around. We spent a large portion of our stay on the back deck enjoying the exceptional weather for south Texas. Be sure to bring deer corn as there will be plenty of deer in your view. The hot tub was an added luxury for the evening. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back that way!

Beautiful Location

This property and location was absolutely beautiful! My girlfriend and I loved the seclusion away from town but also close enough to enjoy the restaurants. It's a perfect 1 bedroom cabin, the jetted tub is amazing as is the hot tub. The few cons were the lock on the patio door was difficult to understand at first and we worried that it wasn't locked properly. We also had some missing light bulbs in the bathroom and the blinds weren't usable for us in the bathroom as they were falling apart. With that though we'd love to stay here again! 😊

My Wife and I love the location , and the privacy. The deer were an xtra joy to watch and feed. The cabin was beautiful and only two miles to town. The property management were easy to contact and communicate with.
