Agave Roost is an elegantly appointed two bedroom suite with a wonderful outdoor balcony for guests to enjoy watching the activity of downtown Fredericksburg . The full kitchen is a unique feature for guests who prefer to dine in of an evening, or to gather around the kitchen bar area for pre-dinner cocktails, before heading out to one of the many and diverse restaurants that Fredericksburg offers.

* Rates for this property are based on double occupancy, additional persons beyond 2 will be charged $35 per person per night*

** Entry to this property is upstairs, must go up stairs to enter the Agave Roost

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

The Roost was clean and tidy. The only thing I would suggest is getting curtains or drapes. When walking up in the morning upstairs the sun shone brightly in my eyes.

I was super surprised at this property for the price!! IT IS AMAZING!!! It is within walking distance to almost everything Fredericksburg. This will be my go-to from now on when staying there. Restaurants were close enough to walk to, and we literally walked everywhere. The screened-in porch was a nice touch, and you could hear all the evening festivities from there, but it did not hinder when you tried to go to bed at night. Very clean and well kept.

Location location location!

It was fantastic, other than there were only cups and wine glasses for two people, and there were four of us. Seems odd that such an excellent property all the way around is lacking in at least supplies for four guests. Other than that, we would totally stay here again. Next time we will bring our own wine, glasses and coffee cups!

A fabulous place to stay! One block from Main Street. We walked everywhere. Live music close by every night. I recommend this place and will stay there again!

Pleasant stay close to downtown.

We had a nice time at Agave Roost. The location was wonderful, right next to downtown (particularly the wine bar with singing pianist on the same block!) The apartment was spacious with a nice big open-plan kitchen/living room. The kitchen didn't have much more than the bare essentials in terms of cookware - and you'd need to bring any of the cooking basics with you, or get them from the H.E.B. supermarket five minutes away. There was a big bowl of coffee pods for the Keurig machine. The adjoining courtyard was great to relax and grill in. The beds were very comfortable; the upstairs bedroom had no closet but a sort of laundry cart that could be used for rudimentary clothes storage; neither bedroom had any hangers in them when we arrived but the host did respond very quickly to drop some off for us.

Superb location to Main Street Shopping! Private parking at the apartment made it so convenient! Inside the apartment was very comfortable and cozy. We happened to come during one of the rare artic blasts Texas experiences. They had salted the steps for us and requested we drip the faucets. No problem! We stayed nice and warm! Thank you for a great place to stay!

If you are looking for somewhere close to Main St and great restaurants this is the place. A wonderful, affordable place to stay, which is hard to come by in Fredericksburg.

Great location!

The property was just as described. Thank the Lord for great AC working quite well in the unit! We appreciated that after waking in the 103 degree heat! The unit was very clean. The beds were quite comfy. The owner was correct in advising that you need to be ok with climbing stairs. They are quite steep so if you have an elderly family member you may think about renting one of their other units that is ground level. I took my 75 yr old mother with me for her bday weekend. She did ok with the stairs but had to take it slow. This unit was quite comfortable for our stay and we enjoyed ourselves. It’s in great proximity to restaurants and shopping which was great for us. There is private parking under shade that is right by the unit. Highly recommend.

Great place for Sister Getaway

This was a perfect spot for our Sister Getaway Weekend. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do, and the home was nice and clean. The Pizza place across the street was great too, so it was very convenient! It was a great weekend, thanks for helping us to make some great memories!!

Fabulous Location

Property is exactly as described. Perfect location and walking distance to everything Downtown Fredericksburg has to offer. Property manager answered all questions is a timely manner. Check in and out were easy. Property was spotless and had everything we needed for a great getaway. No cleaning fee and providing all the paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, and coffee we needed was a an added bonus. Already planning a trip back next month.

More than expected.

This is a fabulous find. As in pictures there is a full kitchen and very comfy beds. The pir h is great to watch stars. So close to restaurants and main street. We only walked to stores and restaurants. We hope to come back again to this place.

Property looked like pics and the location is the most perfect we’ve stayed in the entire town!!! Stairs were tiring at end of day, but to be expected and preferred over bottom unit. View was great. Problem is a giant kitchen with not one bowl at all. Don’t come hoping to cook or eat breakfast. Only plates and glasses were on hand. We did get bitten by red ants 🐜 in the unit and killed several. There was pest control as there many dead. We are aware of the drought and pest need for water; however ot was a problem for us. We mostly got bitten at night.

Nice place

Easy check in/check out. Everything was clean. Plenty of towels but needed more wash cloths, and hand towels. Didn’t really have much provided as far as bath soap or body wash. There were large fire ants inside close to the window. Killed most of them, but I couldn’t find a broom to sweep them up. The location was great, definitely walkable to Main st. The porch was great! Had a great swing! Would recommend. The ants were the only big issue for me.
