Welcome to Oak Cottage at Grapetown Cottages! A Fredericksburg Wine Country premier luxurious and modern farmhouse cottage nestled on three beautiful Texas Hill Country acres. Just right outside famous and lively downtown Fredericksburg, Texas! The outdoor spaces of this luxury Texas Hill Country oasis and retreat are a real gem and a fantastic place to create unforgettable memories and spend quality time with loved ones, family, and friends after a long day of exploring Fredericksburg.



The Space:

This property is ideal for a family, couples, intimate weekend getaways, retreats, and special occasions such as anniversaries or birthdays. We look forward to you immersing yourself into this property's stunning hill country and hilltop views, gorgeous oak trees, abundant wildlife and scenery, beautiful night sky, and stars!



Oak Cottage features a luxury farmhouse kitchen, a cozy living room with a Smart-TV, and two king suites, each harboring private full baths. The cottage also has a great outdoor deck and patio, perfect for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine or cocktail.



This rental only includes Oak Cottage for up to 4 individuals. On the same property is Elm Cottage. This is an additional private cottage that may or may not be rented during your rental of Oak Cottage. Elm Cottage is for only two individuals. Elm Cottage is not included in your rental of Oak Cottage. We ask you to treat any potential guests of Elm Cottage with respect and kindness.



Guest Access:

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.



To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

-Wood for firepit is not provided

-In Texas, there are periods of time without significant rainfall causing the county of Gillespie to place a ban on burning. Please check the current burn ban status, before using the fire pit at a Fredericksburg area vacation rental.
