Morning light filters through tall pines as you step onto the private balcony, coffee in hand, and watch the neighborhood trail winding toward Winter Park’s snow-capped peaks. This spacious cabin in Fraser offers a serene base for adventure-filled days and cozy evenings, with thoughtful touches designed for families and groups to feel right at home.
Outdoor living
The balcony is the perfect spot to begin or end your day - sip coffee as the sun rises or relax with an après-ski drink as the mountains fade into twilight. A gas BBQ grill makes it easy to cook at home, and outdoor seating offers a comfortable place to gather in the fresh alpine air. With a large two-car garage and free on-site parking, there’s plenty of space to stash bikes, skis, or snowshoes, and you can skip scraping snow off your car in winter.
Living and dining
Inside, an open-concept design keeps the group connected. Leather sofas surround the gas fireplace, creating a cozy setting for game nights, story sharing, or winding down after a day on the trails. A TV is available but the living space encourages unplugged connection, with board games and books ready for slow evenings. The dining table brings everyone together for family-style meals, with seating for the whole group and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Kitchen
The fully stocked kitchen is ready for anything from quick breakfasts to hearty dinners. Modern appliances include a full-size refrigerator and freezer, oven, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Smaller conveniences like a toaster, blender, and hot water kettle are also provided. Coffee lovers will appreciate the drip coffee maker and a starter supply of coffee. Cooking basics - from pots and pans to oil, salt, and pepper - ensure you’ll have what you need to prepare meals with ease.
Sleeping arrangements
The cabin sleeps up to ten guests across three bedrooms, designed with comfort in mind. Two master suites offer private retreats - one with a king bed, the other with a queen - each with its own ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower. A bunk room with three bunk sets is perfect for kids, cousins, or friends sharing space. Additional bathrooms include a hallway bath with a shower-tub combo and a convenient half bath on the main floor. Every bedroom is equipped with comfortable mattresses, premium linens, and window coverings for restful sleep.
Comfort and essentials
High-speed Wi-Fi makes remote work or streaming simple, while heating, a ceiling fan, and an indoor fireplace keep the space comfortable year-round. Essentials such as plush towels, premium toiletries, and a washer and dryer with a drying rack make extended stays easy. Guests can enjoy the ease of self check-in via keypad and the peace of mind that comes with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first-aid kit.
Neighborhood and surroundings
Set along Rendezvous Road, the cabin connects directly to a network of trails that lead through Arapahoe National Forest and the historic Idlewild area. Within a mile, you’ll find local favorites including Fireside Market, The Perk Coffee, Hernando’s Pizza, and Wake N’ Bacon. The free Lift shuttle makes it simple to reach Winter Park Resort without driving. Nearby, the Fraser Recreation Center offers an indoor pool, sauna, gym, and kids’ tumbling gym.

This cabin is ideal for families, couples traveling together, or groups of friends who want both comfort and convenience. With two private suites, a kid-friendly bunk room, and easy access to trails, shops, dining, and Winter Park’s slopes, it provides the perfect balance of mountain adventure and cozy retreat.
"The Lift" is a complimentary and convenient bus service throughout Winter Park and Fraser. We recommend downloading their app during your stay. The Lift also provides free pick-ups daily from 6pm to 2am.
To avoid I-70 traffic, you can travel directly to Fraser/Winter Park from Denver Airport. Take the RTD 'A Line' to Union Station, then enjoy a scenic Amtrak ride to Fraser. Winter Park is the only Colorado ski town accessible by Amtrak.
Air Conditioning: Our cabin does not have AC but has various windows and doors that can be opened and fans. It is uncommon for mountain homes to have AC, as the outdoor temperatures are very comfortable.
