"Great little place for price"

"The property was fine. Older but adequate. I wasn't happy with Expedia, as the person on staff said that my credit card info was out of date, and she almost gave it to another customer. It was the last room in the motel, so we would have been out of luck! I tried to update my credit card info earlier that day, and thought that it had gone through, but it hadn't. I got no message from Expedia that something was wrong, went there expecting our room to be all ready after a long day's drive,...

"This place was convenient and located in downtown Port Hawkesbury. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and comfortable, Some of its content was outdated, particularly the AC unit, which made noise. Food at the restaurant in the hotel was amazing! The only electrical car charger was a 5-minute bike ride away. We’re glad we were travelling with our bikes and were able to leave our car at that particular place to charge overnight. "The Fiddle and the Sea BnB was great. The room was very clean and spacious. My room had a private bathroom. It was a quiet place. The breakfast had a set menu, but it was very good and had a few options like the kind of toast you wanted and a choice of beverage. Sometimes its the little things that make a difference. "A place to lay your head and that’s it ! Still even then we didn’t sleep the best , the mattress cover is plastic which makes you sweat . And no shower head so your straight up getting blasted with the water comimg out of the pipe. Train was a super cool feature , the noise of it didn’t bother me with it being so close. "Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I love being outside, so I sat on the deck and did everything outside as much as possible. The one problem I had with the place is that it is new, and the plastic is off-gassing. This was a reason why I chode to be outside so much. By Wednesday, I had a terrible hack and cough, and I’m still sick today. I suggest opening the place up during the winter months when you're not busy to get rid of the plastic smell. I have friends who I know couldn't have stayed...

"Everything about this place is so amazing and welcoming. From the drive there to first stepping into the dome, to seeing all of the personal touches all throughout. We loved star gazing outside and through the top of the dome from the loft. The bed was cozy and the communication with the host was quick and so very helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough!"
