Romantic Mountain Top Cabin with Hot Tub, Wrap Around Porches, and Amazing Views

Wow! This is our New Family Home and we are excited to share it with you! Overlooking the Beautiful Iotla Valley in the Great Smoky Mountains this cabin home has exemplary accommodations and many extras.
Located just 6 miles from Franklin Center this beautiful cabin is perched on a mountain top with two wrap around covered porches complete with panoramic views on all sides. Rocking chairs, porch swings and picnic tables provide relaxing outdoor space for conversing, reading, relaxing and breathing in the clean mountain air.
The property is surrounded by farmland and a 20 acre horse farm. No sounds of traffic. Just the sounds of horses and cows mooing. Fantastic sunrises and sunsets lead to a sparkling sky full of stars. The city lights visible from the porches will take your breath away.
In 2015, my husband and I hiked 85 miles on the Appalachian and ended up in Franklin. We fell in love with the area and in 2017 we bought our 'dream come true' cabin.
Whether you are new to Franklin or if you discovered this amazing area years ago, your vacation is guaranteed to be incredible! White water rafting, hiking, fishing, zip lines, canoeing, and antiquing are just a few of the many activities right in your backyard. Just minutes from Downtown Franklin, visit numerous antique shops, amazing restaurants, pubs and festivals. Having fun and making memories is a sure thing! Cathedral ceiling in main floor living space, rock fireplace with wood burning stove and 50ā€ Smart TV encourages laid back relaxation on our super comfy sofa. Ask Alexa to play your favorite music throughout the cabin!
Three levels include huge loft master king suite with private bath and walk-in closet, two additional queen bedrooms with accompanying bathrooms. First floor family room has queen sleeper. Main level and lower level family rooms have access to covered wrap around porches and amazing views. Half hour drive to local small towns like Sylva, Bryson City, Dillard and Cherokee Casino. Asheville is less than an hour drive!

Mountain road/driveway is on top of mountain and is curvy and steep. (Welcome to the Smoky Mountains) Driveway is paved, however, we recommend four wheel drive or chains during snow months. Parking for four cars and additional parking space located at bottom of drive.

The property was nice and very clean. The jacuzzi was a very nice feature. Communication with the host was very prompt. There was not a great view as advertised. Maybe there once was but a lot of tree growth mostly likely covered want once was.

Love This Cabin

This is our second time staying and we love it! It is so peaceful and quiet, all you hear are the owls and woodpeckers. Plenty of room inside to spread out, and we definitely took advantage of all the board games. Canā€™t wait to stay again.

Excellent weekend get away

The cabin was excellent. It had a wonderful relaxing feeling to it. You can tell the owner cares about making renters comfortable and happy. My fur baby had him a great time as well. Only wish I could have stayed longer. Like most cabin rentals, a lot of steps to go up and down but that is expected for a cabin. This place really is a jewel to stay at.

It was lovely here. The place is very quiet and isolated. The hot tub was great! Sitting at the top of a very steep hill, we felt liked we had climbed into a giant treehouse. The owner was super helpful.

Absolute Dream Property! šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

We stayed here for 4 nights with 2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 kids. We ventured off site twice, but primarily enjoyed just hanging around the home. This property was amazing. It had everything on my want list: hot tub, fireplace, fire pit, outdoor space, room to spread out inside. My younger kids loved running around in the woods, my older kids enjoyed lazing in the lower level with their own television and space. I read 2 good books, rotating between the hot tub, the comfy living room recliner, the porch swing, and my king sized bed. We enjoyed many rounds of family games at the dining room table. I was probably what would be considered a nuisance guest. I messaged the host a few times before and during our stay. Host was very gracious and cheerful in answering my questions and helping me. They provided a lot of basic amenities, as well as some extras. It was well kept, clean, and cozy. Sometimes you go into a VRBO and itā€™s too pristine and youā€™re scared to do anything. This one just felt inviting like they wanted you to relax and be comfortable. Nice big smart TVs and plush seating. We did make the drive to Bryson City. If you have a child who gets car sick, I do not recommend this trip. We go to the mountains every summer, but these mountain roads were something else. Miles and miles of back and forth back and forth back and forth curves. Absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the property itself, but just wanted to throw that warning out there. Overall, this property was an absolute perfect fit for our family and we feel so lucky to have found it, and we hope to stay again if theyā€™ll have us. ā­ļø ā­ļø ā­ļø ā­ļø ā­ļø

Wonderful relaxing vaca!

This is what we experienced. Very steep driveway which is common in the mountains. Upon entry the house was immaculate which I am VERY picky. The furniture was comfortable and sturdy for the small to the bigger framed people. Would love to have one of those red recliners! Got great use out of the 2 porches, our dog enjoyed watching the squirrels from them. Enjoyed the big picnic table on the top porch where we ate all of our meals. The home had everything we needed. We had cell service and internet was used for many zoom meetings. We did not use the hot tub, dining table chairs, fire pit or fireplace. Easy check in/out. We had no issues so host was never contacted. We will stay here again. Thank you.

Great Getaway

Our family had a great time staying at this property. This property is a great for families. The only downside is that there is no play are for kids so on rainy days was not much for kids to do. Property however was correctly described and overall we had a great time.

Wonderful week in Franklin

The cabin exceeded our expectations! It had everything that we needed...and more!! Beds were super comfy and we had plenty of room for the 6 of us! We enjoyed some down time (never used the TV's provided-which was amazing for having 2 teenagers!), played games and just hanging out together. We brought most of the groceries that we would need to avoid having to go to town, which was great! Loved sitting out on the porches drinking coffee in the AM or an evening adult beverage :-)! The hot tub was a great way to end the day relaxing. We took a white water rafting trip one day, and hiked another...and the rest of the time spent at the Cozy Cabin. The owners were super accessible and the entire rental process was easy as pie. I definitely recommend this home for a quiet, relaxing get a way! It will not dissapoint! A plus is shopping at Cowee Mountain Pottery, which is on the way to the cabin...love that place!

Nice little place

We liked it, there were some Pitbull dogs roaming around that made us uneasy, but the overall cabin experience was good. There are also a lot of wasps in the clay next to the hot tub that need to be addressed. But all in all, pretty good place- we had fun.

Perfect getaway

We booked this property because it checked all of the boxes, and upon arrival we were not let down!!! We brought our dog with us, and her being comfortable was most important to us. She immediately felt at home and claimed her spot. So many things about this place were cute and well thought out, like the pet supplies box on the porch! We were only here for 2 nights but it was a great stay and we will absolutely be back as soon as our wallets allow us to do so. The drive up was beautiful and easy. Paper goods being provided for us was much appreciated. Our stay overall was very cozy and relaxing for us and our furchild. We only wish we couldā€™ve stayed longer!!
