"My stay was great. The people on the resort was pleasant. The resort was safe and clean. if we need maintenance. They will show up with no problem. Also, they placed us in the wrong cottage at first. They accommodated us by placing us in the right cottage with no problem.Moreover, me and my family are planning to come back during the holiday"

"It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up."

"What a unique relaxing stay enjoying birding, kayaking, stargazing, sunsets off the bridge and watching the kids capture crabs galore. We loved the quirky cottage with its amazing large wrap around window views. Donna and Mike are caring hosts, offering plenty of tips on the area when asked. The island is conveniently located close to Yorktown and not far from Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. The kids also enjoyed both Yorktown and Jamestown beaches during the stay. "

From the basket of towels and sandals for the hot tub, to the welcome book full of local food and fun, you can tell they really care if their guests enjoys their stay! "We took a moms' relaxing getaway at this property this week. The property was clean, pretty, and very well kept with modern designs and appliances. We were able to enjoy the beautiful waterfront view from bedrooms, living room and the kitchen during our stay. The house is perfectly located in the quiet neighborhood within a 20-30 min driving distance from a variety of attractions to check out - shopping, museums, and more. We will likely come back to this property again. :) "

"Property manager canceled my stay with no notice. I had already driven a great distance to be there. Took several days for them to issue the refund despite the fact that they canceled the reservation same day. Actually they told me I had to cancel the reservation on my end. I assume this was so they would still get the money from the reservation, but I called to cancel it and explain the situation. Long story short don’t book here."

"The cottage was clean, the discription was acurate,the attension to detail was outstanding.The rooms look like they were just renovated.The view from the deck was fantastic.The glasses, flatware and cookware looked new.Well worth the cost. There even was a binder with the history of the area and activity suggestions,We hated to leave."

"We enjoyed our stay so close to the Tides Inn for the Taste of the Bay. Irvington is a quaint walkable town, perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of fast paced locations."

"Love the new couches! It made the home way more comfortable. Had a problem with Roku but Glenda worked with my daughter to get it fixed. Can't beat the view!!!"
