"Booked 1-night for March 2024. Amazing location in the Old Town just steps away from shops, bars, restaurants etc. Everything inside the property was pretty much perfect, the room, the beds, the facilities, the patio, the view! . So many little touches from the host that made it special. Definitely 10/10."

"This property is truly beautiful for and old town. Recently renovated and very nice. The owner was an absolute gem. So sweet, kind and welcoming. The added breakfast was so yummy and so cheap. The location made the challenging walk with luggage from the parking lot a couple blocks away worth it! The bed was comfortable and the space was very clean. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area. "

"Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Rethymno. We stayed in the loggia suite (one bed plus a living room with sofa bed, two bathrooms). Very tastefully decorated, great bathroom(s) really good powerful shower and the property felt well maintained and cared for. Very good complimentary breakfast. The only negatives or points for improvement (these seem rather nit picky): 1. The bathroom had an amazing shower and a fancy weighing scale (who would want that with all the great food so close...

"Amazing find . Beautiful room and view over the sea and town . Near to the centre of Rethymno . Very clean , done daily. Fabulous breakfast and wonderful friendly staff . "The Casa dei Delfini is a credit to the owners, who have restored their two buildings with care and sensitivity for their historical roots. They have brought light into the buildings, while preserving their authenticity. Our hosts made the first contact with us, and responded to our messages quickly. Konstantinos was kind and informative, and his mother was fantastic in her enthusiasm for the restoration and care of the buildings. We had the generous and tasty breakfast one day and recommend it....

"Nossa estadia foi péssima, começou no check inn onde percebemos que não ha elevador ou acessibilidade alguma para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida. Havia solicitado um apto no terreo, que nao foi atendido, chegamos tarde e tive que subir com as malas e meu marido deficiente fisico pelas escadas. No apto muitas surpresas, o apto 10, fique longe dele, ele fica exatamente em cima de um bar/balada que funciona ate 4hrs da manha! O hotel que eh uma casa velha nao possui nenhum tipo de isolamento...

"The Fortezza is a lovely hotel in a great location within the old town. Nice rooms pool, bar area and the the staff where very helpful. I cant fault the place, if you are visiting Rethymnon i cant think of a better place to stay."

"Väldigt trevlig personal. Väldigt rent och fräscht. Läget var perfekt. Frukosten var bra. Rummet städas varje dag. Skönt att kunna lämna nyckeln i reception så man slipper ta med den till stranden. "

"Hotel confortável em frente ao mar. Funcionário amável e que ajudou com as malas. Mas o pequeno almoço servido no quarto por um takeaway tinha algo contaminado que me deixou muito doente e a vomitar. Deveriam rever o contrato com esse fornecedor. "

"The reviews were spot-on. We throughly enjoyed our stay as it was convenient to restaurants, bars, shopping, local landmarks and of course the beach! The staff couldn’t have been nicer! And the breakfasts were outstanding! Super nice pool too! You’ll be glad you picked this place!"

"Very charming boutique hotel,with a nice restaurant,a fine dining place..Rooms were spacious and the bed and pillows really comfortable.Breakfast was good,with some good and fresh local products,but it eas exactly the same options during our 3 days staying,so it became a bit boring,would be nice and a suggestion to change something everyday,jus the eggs could be changed but this is standard.The food in the restaurant was really good(local and more fancy dinner),with a nice wine list available.There was a shop that you can buy local products like olive oil (high quality ones),but the lady in the shop,despite I showed her a lot of interesting to learn about local good olive oil,she never offered by herself any tasting,she just gave me a single taste after I requested,so,we didn’t feel that good comparing with another stores around,so we didn’t buy anything from their shop.But all other hotel staff were very kind and professional,specially in the breakfast and restaurant.A small jacuzzi is available at the rooftop,but there’s no swimming pool."
