Casas de Férias em Fort Washington, MD

"Clean room, host is easy to communicate with, spacious rooms, AC is working properly, beddings are clean. The only thing that I think would make a guest stay more comfortably is if a sink would be at the dining/kitchen near the fridge and cooking area rather than going thru the bedroom all the way to the bathroom to wash dishes and utensils. A kitchen knife would also be a practical addition to the utensils. Also, the other bedroom is only accessed thru the shared bathroom and if locked by the...

"Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC...

"Very nice property conveniently located for visiting Mount Vernon, DC, and Old Town Alexandria."

"We loved how close to Washington DC it was...and also to the the Huntington Metro station! Host was very helpful on how to navigate getting to to the city, etc. The place was very nice...just a little smaller than we expected, but it was fine for what we needed for just one night. Would def book again!"

"Nice house in a great location. Very clean and has all the amenities you need. Perfect for a business trip or a visit. Had a small issue with check in but they were quick to respond and address the issue."

"The property was beautiful, in pristine condition, walking distance to points of interest but just far enough away to be incredibly peaceful and quiet. Neighbors and whole neighborhood quiet and extremely pleasant and trees were beautiful. I would gladly stay again. I highly recommend Renee's beautiful home. Oh and there is a private parking spot right in front of the house."

"Centrally located near shops and restaurants. Very comfortable bed. Lovely renovated historic carriage house. The old cobblestone floors are a very nice touch.."

"Very well appointed we had everything we needed and more! Lovely location. Would recommend this place to others."

"The Lafeyette House is conveniently located near King Street and the waterfront to enjoy all the activities Old Town Alexandria has to offer. The house is very comfortable with covered parking available directly across the street. I especially enjoyed easy access to the Mount Vernon walking and biking trail."

"Lovely historic home situated in a great location. Just a short walk to King Street and all of our favorite restaurants."

"The place was great. 10 minute walk to Metro, Chewish deli next door is a great, easy breakfast. Parking wasn't difficult (if you can parallel park), even with 5-6 spaces closed due to construction. I would bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. A lot of windows high up that don't have blinds/curtains, and it can get bright in the morning. "

"The townhouse was perfect for our family trip to DC for my niece’s wedding. The off-street parking was very helpful. The host was very helpful about reaching out to make sure our stay was comfortable."

"This is a charming home in a great location in Alexandria, near the metro, a Whole Foods and Old Town. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with supplies like coffee, oils for cooking, and napkins. We also enjoyed having coffee on the back patio in the morning. Maggie is a responsive and helpful host, she also sent me something I left behind during our stay. The master shower has a very nice rainfall shower head and has a low ceiling for those who are a bit taller. The air...

"Great location for us to use as a base camp to go explore Alexandria and DC. It was an easy walk to the metro station, the Potomac and grocery stores. We’d stay there again if we head back to the area. Thanks for having us."

"The space was very clean, conveniently located, and just what we needed for our short visit."

"The location was excellent — very convenient for walking to restaurants, shops, and everything Old Town has to offer. The property itself was comfortable and a great home base for exploring the area. The main downside was the noise. The bed room facing the busy street was quite loud, especially at night and early in the morning , and it made it difficult to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs. The bedroom on the back of the house is much quieter but since we were a...

"The host is a great communicator. We had no issues but did ask a few questions and they were very prompt to answer. The property is in a great location- very easy to walk in old town or drive to local spots easily. Kitchen has all the necessary equipment for cooking, and the home is outfitted well. We would stay here again!"

"The property is nice and updated, looks just like the pictures. The backyard is a great retreat! The 2 private parking spaces made it comfortable to come and go. The beds are comfortable and plenty of towels and convenience items (shampoo, trash bags, etc). The hosts were accessible during the stay, but we didn’t need them. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay near DC, this place in a nice quiet neighborhood is a perfect choice."
