  • The Shore at Ocean Palms Retreat is a beautifully renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath, second floor apartment located mid-island with canal views and tranquil neighborhood. Two blocks to the beach mid-way between two beach access points.

    Canal views from the windows and balconies. Manatee, dolphin, and palm trees galore from your kitchen, dining, living room and balcony of your unit. Fully equipped kitchens with a Keurig Coffee Machine, additional seating for guests, Dishwasher, Rain Shower heads and spa shower panels where equipped. Hotel style five star linens and towels complement our comfortable surrounds so you can unwind and relax in style.

    High speed internet, WiFi, Alexa, streaming music and lookup features, 4k streaming smart TV, coded door locks and smart thermostat capabilities, Remote fan and light controls, Recessed lighting with dimmer controls add to the mood setting enjoyment of your stay.

    Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sightseeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well.

    Pet friendly restrictions and fees apply. Dogs are permitted up to 25 lbs and non-aggressive breeds only with pet fee paid in advance. Pets restricted to dogs only, no other pets allowed and penalties enforced. Excess cleaning charges may apply. Dogs must be leashed when outdoors, must be cleaned up after and can't be walked on anyone else's property.

    Parking is limited to two vehicles per unit and only park in front of the building.

The host was 45 minutes late the first day. The first night we found no washcloths or hand towels and no hot water. We called about this and they did bring towels, but hot water never worked properly. On the third day I accidentally put in the wrong code to the door and discovered that any code opened the door or no code at all. We of course called about this but it was never resolved and we never once saw the host. SAVE YOUR MONEY. WE NEVER FELT SAFE THERE.

Lanai overlooking the canal.

This place was very clean and perfect for a beach vacation for the four of us. Plenty of room, comfortable beds and a nice deck overlooking the canal. The area was peaceful, quiet and you could walk to the beach. We enjoyed it.

Nice for the money

We stayed here for a few days in July, and we were happy with it. it was really nice inside with a lot of updates. It's in Ft. Myers Beach and wasn't far from the actual beach. We would stay here again.

Great little bit of Heaven

The property was clean and conveniently located near the beach. When we encountered a minor issue with the washer, the property manager responded promptly and resolved it. I would definitely consider staying there again, and I might even think about booking a couple of months in January and February of 2026.

Hidden Gem

Just spent 6 nights at this hidden gem itā€™s an upper duplex with a lovely balcony with comfy out door seating .. Tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds and equipped with everything you need for a home away from home. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Patsy Houston Texas

Wonderful Experience

My wife and stepdaughter enjoyed our week stay at this location mainly due to great accommodations as listed in profile and easy access to beach a short two blocks away. Have already recommended rental to other family and friends!!

Amazing Little Place

We had a great time. The kitchen was fully equiped to make dinners and breakfast. Short walk to the beach. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The walk to publix was a short walk. Tvs were easy to use. Definitely would stay again.

The location of the apartment was great - a 5-10 minute walk from door to sitting at the beach. It was stylishly furnished with adequate kitchen supplies. It also had a nice screened in porch to relax in. However, the master bath shower was inadequate - producing barely a trickle of water. The ventilation was also set up as such that the master barely got any a/c flow. It was very hot. The apartment is across the street from the harbor, and the views are greatly impeded by a large bush. We had 3 in our party and I'd say that's what the apartment would comfortably accommodate. The concierge service offered by managing company is only for the entire duration of your stay - not a portion. The equipment delivered was late, but adequate. However, the company is quick to respond. It is very evident the apartment was redecorated after the hurricane - but not necessarily replacing or improving structures.

Wonderful place to stay!

Our family stayed here for a week this month and felt it was a great place. The kitchen is well equipped- large refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, coffee pot and more. It was easy to cook meals here. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The place is very clean and decorated tastefully. Laundry room on bottom floor (separate area). It's only a couple blocks from the beach, which we went to every day. I would recommend this place and would stay here again.

The shore @ Ocean palms

Overall the unit was clean with updated bathrooms and well supplied kitchen & appliances. We greatly appreciated the quiet area & other renters in the complex. The screened porch is great. Would definitely consider renting again next year. Just a couple comments: the well worn sofa sectional & pillows could use updating along with the panel curtains to better fit the living room window. The second bedroom closet needs a little help with the rusty metal bottom frame .

A very nice location

This property is clean and is located very close to Fort Myers Beach in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. The management responded to our questions, but there was no direct communication. We had to leave messages for someone to get in touch with us. There were a few issues that were resolved with the management.

Bad weather

It was quite cold during my visit and the furnace did not worry. However, the property manager was responsive by providing a space heater. The water pressure in the master bedroom was low and the shower in the family bathroom had missing knobā€™s, making it difficult to change selections. However, that bathrooms water pressure was good.

Didn't want to go home!

This property was everything we hoped for when we booked it online. We felt so at home and hated leaving. The amenities are so amazing; starting with the incredible location mid island. The home is well maintained and has wonderful curb appeal. Then you enter to find the beautiful and updated decor, which just happened to look exactly like we had picked it out. All Samsung appliances, a brand new Keurig, an Amazon Alexa, smart TVs, fast wifi, showers to die for, and the most comfortable bed of anyplace we have ever rented. *We looked until we found the tag so we can buy one ourselves!* Communication with the owner was great; rapid, attentive responses to questions and concerns. We would definitely stay here again!

Review

Thankful for the accommodations but there were some things that need attention. The windows are all trailer windows, low quality. The curtains were not large enough to cover the windows. There were bugs. The drain cover in our shower was never screwed into place.

Home away from home

We stayed for a week with our 2 children during spring break. The condo had everything we needed to be at home for the week. The beach wagon, chairs, and umbrella were made our beach days so much easier. The beach is an easy .25 mile walk. Due to COVID safety, we chose to eat all but one meal in the condo and the kitchen was equipped with what I needed for simple meals. Laundry is shared with the one other unit, but even though I did at least one load a day, I didn't have to wait. One set of beach towels are provided (thus the reason for daily laundry). The furnishings were clean and updated. There was one morning that wifi randomly went out and the property management responded immediately and it was fixed very quickly. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay here again in the future.
