Regarding the pool heat and hot tub, there is heat available for an additional $25/day. If you don't need the pool heat, you will not be charged. You will only be charged for the days you need the heat. Simply text or call us if you need the temperature adjusted. We prefer payment via Zell to our phone number. We can straighten all this out after your rent the home.

Thanks so much for your interest in our home. I assume you are aware that almost all waterfront in the Fort Myers area was very badly damaged, including our home. We had put a great deal of time and effort bringing the house up to a beautiful standard only to have the storm destroy all our hard work. The good news for you is that since it was torn down to the studs, we could improve small things that were less than optimal. So now, you are not renting a beautiful place, you are renting an incredible place.

This is not an investment property, this is our home and it is fantastic. Let's start with the location. You are the last house on the street with river in front of you, and Florida wilderness jungle to your left and behind you. There is literally only one neighbor to the right, and we have planted a nice privacy hedge along that line. The entire house is freshly remodeled. The impact rated windows throughout the house mean that it is comfortable and quiet. The pool, hot tub, cage, and lanai are all brand new and fabulous. Imagine a cold beer as you watch a spectacular sunset over the river by the firepit.

In the house itself, everything is brand new. The kitchen is large with every convenience and most likely more appliances than you have at home. We are talking a Kitchenaide stand mixer, a self cooling ice cream maker, an immersion blender, a conventional blender, a milkshake maker, a Keurig and a conventional coffee maker, a food processor, and a toaster/convection oven.

The living room has a leather recline sofa set and a separate leather recliner. Kick back and enjoy the 70 inch TV with a built in home theater.

Of course, the guest bath, like everything in the house is all new. The tile work in the bathroom is gorgeous and custom. The shower is oversize with a very luxurious shower panel including a rainfall shower, body spray, and hand held shower wand. The bathroom makeup mirror is self lit with three color temperatures. It also has an anti fogging feature.

Starting with the primary guest bedroom, you have a queen size bed with a custom walnut headboard. It is rustic, unique, and beautiful. The mattress is memory foam and brand new. Very comfortable. All of the closets have custom California wood closet packages that you will wish you had at home.

There is a kid's room we optimized for family reunions which usually involve coming up with beds for a lot of guests. There are two bunk beds with a twin over full configuration offering sleeping for six in a rather "summer camp" atmosphere. All the mattresses are memory foam, and they have been built with adults in mind.

The upper bunk is rated for 220 lbs. There is a small walk in closet, a 55" tv, and a shelf for your video games.

The master suite is simply incredible. It has a King size bed with a memory foam mattress. There are French doors opening onto the pool and hot tub area. An incredible walk in closet with four built in dressers. The bathroom part of the suite has gorgeous blue green stone walls, huge walk in shower with an incredible shower panel, and oversize vanity with two sinks and unique faucets.

The heated pool and hot tub are wonderful. There is a gorgeous mosaic of a mermaid in the bottom of the pool as well as two bronze mermaid fountains and a bronze mermaid table. There is a tanning ledge as well as seating the length of the pool so you can watch the sun set over the Caloosahatchee.

We have built an incredible home gym which is availble for an additional $200/week for guests staying less than three weeks. If you are staying more than three weeks, gym access is complimentary.

The gym has a smith machine with self spotting arms and a fully adjustable bench. There are 530 lbs of olympic weights and a free olympic bar as well as the smith machine bar. There is a high pulley and a low pulley and also a pec-dec that adjusts for upper back and rear delt work. These are all attached to a 200 lb weight stack which additionally has a crossbar for adding even more weight in the form of olympic plates.

The gym also has a cross cable machine with a 150 lb weight stack which is adjustable over a wide range of heights and has a variety of different grips and handles.
The gym also has 590 lbs of hexagonal iron dumbells ranging from 5 to 50 lbs. The adjustable bench can be fitted with a preacher's curl attachment.

Additionally, there is a speed bag for all you boxing/mma types. Great for coordination, warm up, or working up a sweat.

Finally, there is a Bowflex M7 aerobics trainer. Kind of a cross between an eliptical trainer and a stepper trainer. Good leg workout as well as cardio.

We once had a negative comment regarding our second unit. Yes, there is an additional rental here. It is over the garage, and really it is just like having a neighbor. We call that unit Kokomo Bay. Kokomo Bay guests do not have access to the backyard, pool, hot tub, dock, none of it. While they do have a beautiful river view, due to the roofline of the house, they cannot see the pool or dock or yard. There is no impingement on your privacy. If you are interested in having more space for a big reunion, you could rent Kokomo Bay and Kokomo Del Sol together. That would give you an additional two queen size beds, additional bathroom, a kitchenette, and a nice private deck. If you are interested in this additional space, it will behoove you to make your whole house reservation early, as everything rents out quickly here in high season.
