We were left two empty propane tanks for the outside grill. Not what you want to find when your about to start cooking dinner, but went and exchanged one for a full one. "Bear's Retreat was the perfect getaway spot to explore the Raystown Lake area and spend quality time with family and friends in absolutely stunning surroundings. Plenty of fire pits for nighttime relaxing and very close to hiking, restaurants in Huntington and activities at Rays town lake! "

"This property is located in a quiet peaceful, wooded area. The home is very clean and well equipt. Ajacent to the main house is a bunk house that our granddaughter loves. Property is as the owner describes in the listing. We had an enjoyable stay!!"

"My partner and I enjoyed our 2 night stay in the River Cabin at River Mountain Farm. The cabin is teeny, nothing fancy but cozy and just as listed. Great shower in bathroom and Starbucks k-cups each morning. We had a straight shot past the barn and shed to the river where we took out 2 of the kayaks available and I caught 7 fish early Sunday morning. I didn’t want to leave the tranquility of this little slice of heaven. Would love to go back sometime!"
