"We had an amazing stay! This was perfect for transporting our soldier to his AIT at Fort Lee. It is 5.3 miles from the base, so we were granted a Family Pass for the weekend. This is a nice quiet neighborhood. There is a Food Lion right down the street, and a nice backyard for grilling and chilling with our Soldier. Wilcox Lake is close by too for Fishing! There are window units for AC, but they do a great job at keeping the house nice and cool. The Corn Hole was a big hit! And all the TVs were...

"We only stayed as a brief overnight stay. The little apt was perfect for what we needed. The horse farm property is absolutely gorgeous and I wish I could have looked around more."

"Captain Ron is absolutely the most wonderful host. It is an older boat with a retro 70s style! That is where the charm is for me! Any issues with being an older boat are way out-weighed by the charm of the boat, the beautiful natural area and a wonderful and interesting host! Sitting on the front of that boat, looking out across the water, the rest of the world melts away! I would say if you are a larger sized person, you would have difficulty getting up and down the stairs to the different...

"The location was excellent for travel needs and was close to shops that were needed. The house and yard was overall clean. Check in was easy. James was accessible if needed. We felt safe in the neighborhood it was quiet and there were cameras that made us feel extra safe."

"Very quiet, although we were initially and then sporadically met with the sound of gunshots during our stay. But the house was well sound proofed, so we weren't bothered while we were inside. The porch was fantastic, and the lake was great for swimming. "

"The house is a three bedroom fully finished home. Two bedrooms upstairs, and a spacious primary suite at the bottom level with a half bath (sink toilet no shower). Main bathroom is upstairs. Backyard is great for kids, it has a playground and corn hole. My only minor complaint is that the kitchen sink was difficult to set to cold, and I love to drink ice cold water. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends in the area, 9/10 would stay again "

"Our family had all gathered in Petersburg to lay one of our family members to rest in the community they grew up in. None of us lived in Petersburg so we opted to find a place large enough to hold our entire family. The place is most suitable for adults and there are stairs to get to any of the bedrooms or bathrooms so be sure you can walk up and down stairs. "

The only thing that was an issue was parking for three cars forced us into the neighbors area on the street since the drive way was inconvenient and off a main road. The yard gate was loose and off centered which was solved by us wrapping rope to prevent our dogs from leaving but may be an issue for less prepared individuals."

"My wife and I came to visit for her birthday. We had a great time and the house was great for this purpose. Everything was clean and the location was great for venturing to different parts of town easily and quickly.A heads up to visitors (and nothing the host can fix), locals speed down the street in front of the house. Be advised if you come with kids, and keep pets on a short leash. "

"Hotel novo. Cozinha com geladeira, micro, Cooktop e máquina de lavar pratos. Desvantagem: limpeza só é feita a cada 14 dias, hóspede tem que tirar o lixo do quarto e levar para fora. Lavanderia grande, com várias máquinas, também nova. A frequência é um pouco estranha pq não tem muitos turistas, a maioria de trabalhadores com empreitas na região. Quando o hotel encheu, também faltou água quente a noite. No outro dia, levantamos cedo para tomar banho, mas a água quente só foi suficiente para 3 pessoas da minha família. Meu marido acabou sem. Felizmente isso aconteceu apenas no último dia e a explicação que a recepção deu é pq o hotel estava cheio, o que não é satisfatório, pois qdo constroem devem dimensionar a necessidade pelo número máximo de hóspedes. O fato deles limparem apenas a cada 14 dias, logo o hotel estará encardido. Uma pena."
