Located on the first floor, the Hercules Suite offers strength and comfort in equal measure. With its own full bathroom, TV, and closet, this private room is designed for a restful night’s sleep and easy access to the shared spaces of the home. A perfect retreat for travelers seeking both convenience and relaxation.

Guests will have:

Located just steps from the Atlantic Ocean, this home sits in the Lauderdale Beach / Galt Ocean Mile area, a peaceful seaside neighborhood perfect for those seeking both relaxation and accessibility.

Wake up to the sound of ocean breezes and stroll just a few minutes to the beach for sunrise walks, paddleboarding, or an afternoon swim. This area is known for its quiet, uncrowded stretch of sand, giving you that “locals-only” coastal feel while still being close to everything Fort Lauderdale is famous for.

Within a 5-minute drive (or even a scenic walk), you’ll find the charming beach town of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, packed with open-air restaurants, tiki bars, and boutique shops. Enjoy fresh seafood at Aruba Beach Café, sunset cocktails at Anglin’s Square, or explore the nearby Galt Ocean Mile for more upscale dining and nightlife options.

Publix, CVS, and coffee shops are right around the corner, and you’re just 15 minutes from Las Olas Boulevard, known for its shopping, galleries, and nightlife. The neighborhood is one of the safest in all of Fort Lauderdale and well-maintained with a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere.

Please be respectful of other guests potentially renting the other rooms during your stay!
On the date of check-in the guest will send you the passcode for the smart lock on the property. It is typically sent between 3:30PM-4PM or after 4PM if we are still awaiting any pending guest confirmations. Any early check-in or late check-out request procedure can be found below in the house rules section.

Check-in time is 4pm / Check-out time is 11am.
Sometimes the platform will allow you to select the time in which you would like to arrive and or exit.
Please know that check in is always at 4PM and checkout at 11AM unless explicitly discussed and approved with us.
Fort Lauderdale city ordinance quiet hours 10pm-8am.
No smoking inside the house ($500 fine)


**House Rules Intro**
We have created our house rules sheet to preserve the integrity of your stay and future stays while also respecting the home and neighborhood! Following these rules will greatly help us as Vacation Rental hosts by making sure the home is taken care of during your stay. We understand that people are not a “one size fits all” category, so please reach out to us with any questions or concerns in this document. COMMUNICATION IS KEY!!!!

Mi casa, tu casa! But you wouldn’t intentionally damage or mess up your home, would you? We ask that you treat our property as if it was your very own as well! Please be aware of the condition of items in the house, and if you happen to notice anything broken when you arrive, please contact us to let us know.
We also ask that you please watch noise levels at night. We love our neighbors! They’re nice, we’re nice to them, and we hope you are nice to them too! Noise ordinances for quiet time in the city/neighborhood are at 10pm, so please respect these rules.

YOU AND THE GROUP ACCOMPANYING YOU FURTHER UNDERSTAND, INTEND AND DESIRE TO RELEASE THE MANAGER PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE OCCUPANCY OF THE PROPERTY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA.
You hereby certify that you are at least 18 years of age and you are legally competent to enter into this Agreement, including the Release, Waiver, Assumption and Indemnity provisions contained herein. You agree that it is your express intent that this release shall bind the members of your family and spouse, if you are alive, and your heirs, assigns and personal representatives, if you are deceased, and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

A/C Central System
Please do not ever have the AC thermostat below 60 degrees as this can freeze the ac unit causing damages that we will then pass along to you.


Booking
When you book, you are agreeing to pay all charges for your booking including the Listing price, applicable fees like, taxes, and any other items identified during checkout (collectively, “Total Price”). You are also agreeing that C’est La Vie Home Away by Jordan Mikes LLC via Cosmic Property Management or their partners may charge the Payment Method used to book the Listing in order to collect Damage Claim amounts. When you receive the booking confirmation/invoice, a contract for Host Services (a `Reservation`) is formed directly between you and the Host. In addition to these Terms, you will be subject to, and responsible for complying with, all terms of the Reservation, including without limitation, the cancellation policy and any other rules, standards, policies, or requirements identified in the Listing or during checkout that apply to the Reservation. It is your responsibility to read and understand these rules, standards, policies, and requirements prior to booking a Listing. Be aware that some Hosts work with a co-host or as part of a team to provide their Host Services.

Broken items
If for any reason you break an item during your stay, please let us know immediately. We understand that accidents happen, but in order for us to fix or replace something for a future guest to enjoy, we will need to know that it is broken. We really appreciate your honesty. We take inventory of every single item in the home when it is being cleaned, including linens, appliances, towels, and decorations. If anything is missing - this will result in a fee equal to the item’s 150% replacement value.


Check-in
Check-in time is from 4:00pm -12:00am. If you have a late/delayed flight, please let us know as soon as possible and we will be happy to work with you. Early check-ins are available upon request, however please understand that we cannot make any guarantees until the day of or before. If you are interested in an early check in, please reach out to us and we will let you know what the additional cost would be. Please only use the smart locks to access in and out of the unit. If you use anything other than smartlocks and happen to lock yourselves out, we will not be liable for any additional charges and expenses associated with this. It will be charged to you. In order to be provided the main entrance door code, please have both you and your guests’ (if applicable) drivers licence readily available. You will be asked to ring the Ring Camera Doorbell and present the license closely to the camera. Once we have verified your identity, we will then provide you with the door code access to both the main door and the Private Room you will be renting from us in this shared home.

If you are granted an early check in, the additional fees are as follows:

12:30pm check-in: $90
2pm check-in: $50

Check-out
Check-out time is 11am. Late checkouts are based on availability and an additional fee of $75/per hour. Unless otherwise authorized by us, please give us a 24-hour notice for late checkout requests or if you would like to extend your stay with us. Please keep in mind that we will try our best to accommodate these requests however we cannot make any guarantees that we will be able to honor your request. If you use anything other than our smartlock by the front door and lock yourselves out, we will not be liable for any additional charges and expenses associated with this. It will be charged to you. If you lose the keys provided to you for your door entry you will be responsible for the repairs and replacement of the lock & key. We will also not be able to guarantee being able to provide another key if it’s late in the evening time. Any guest who stays after the 11am checkout time without requesting it from us previously or stays despite having their request denied will be charged an additional night’s stay and will be forced to vacate. Should we experience any cancellations or losses in our calendar arising from any check out related complications from you or any guests, you will be charged for the next booking. Prior to leaving please place a load of regular towels and beach towels to wash. This will help our cleaners get a head start for our next guest.


Checking for & Report Damages/Issues
Please note that like any home, our property may have normal wear and tear. We try our hardest to fix, replace, and bring back our property to its original form in between guests and reservations but sometimes it’s just not feasible and sometimes our previous guests don’t mention it to us.
