  • Casa Spanish is our newest property comprised of 3 dedicated vacation rental units. Garden style villa is approximately 450 sq ft with an open living and kitchen decorated in Retro Spanish theme overlooks and walks out to the swimming pool &Tarpon River where u can kayak, paddle & relax in the pool. From the entrance to vibrant fully functional kitchen w Spanish touch,little decor elements that bring retro Spanish to present. Huge Modern Bath gives you a grandier feel as you walk into its huge shower. Spacious Bedroom & Shared pool/backyard.Property has 200 ft of frontage on Tarpon River, 1/4 acre,ample parking.Ideal location for air/sea transfers being <10 mins from Las Olas,FLL Airport, Pt Everglades.

    No outside guests other than on reservation are allowed to stay or enter the property/amenities. Security Cameras are in place outdoors for guest safety & surveillance purposes.

    House is next to busy street and prone to traffic noise, wouldn’t recommend it to light sleepers as you might hear fire engine noise & other traffic frequently.

    All of our units have 1 parking spot each, however we can accommodate more, if you let us know in advance. Washer and dryer are also available for $5.00 per load.

    In an effort to respect all of our guests, no parties are permitted at the property, and quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am when noise must be kept to a minimum.

Brilliant little property

We basically lived in the apartment for 2 weeks and it was quite comfortable. Owner/manager communicative, kind and unit was well equipped.

Property was updated and very clean. Should list a1 bed and pullout sofa vs. 2 beds. Everything else was as expected. Would stay at this property again.

Friend getaway

This was a close location to Ft Lauderdale airport, I-95 and not too far of a drive from the ocean. Cute little place nice for 2-4 people. Location is on a noisy street so if quiet is important then beware. But otherwise recommend

Such a pleasant surprise!

If you are looking for peace and privacy, this little place is perfect for you. The iguanas and geckos will keep you entertained while you watch the river go by, with coconut trees and banana trees all around you. The house is a little difficult to be found for any food delivery service or driver service maps but that is just a minor inconvenience. The pool was warm and inviting. The unit is cute, clean and perfect for a party of 2. Only disappointment was that the outdoor gas grill wasn't working but again, it was only a minor inconvenience because there is a stove/oven/microwave inside. The hospital is close so you will hear sirens and traffic often but I live near a hospital so it didn't bother me at all. I forgot to mention, due to our late flight, they allowed us to stay over for a very small fee and even offered to transport us to the airport. They are a 10 out of 10! Above & Beyond!! Thank you Bha and Thresha (I hope I spelled that right), we will certainly consider visiting you again.

DO NOT BOOK

This is not a duplex/triplex, this is literally a guest house or "pool house" connected to the host's house. The pool was a mess. Dirty. Not cleaned. Not to mention the host is extremely weird. I booked for (2) adults and (1) child, I had (3) more kids at the property (my 6 year old daughters friends) they were in the pool playing when the host Bha came out and said that the kids could not play at the pool because technically they didn't pay for the amenities. LOL there 6 years old.... I had to pay her cash so the kids can continue playing, DO NOT BOOK HERE! You will be watched, at all times by the host and her family who are literally in the home. It is a shared backyard, no parking, and dirty. There is NO privacy, the neighbors yard and host's yard is connected. Such an uncomfortable and awkward experience. Horrible location too, you are right on the main road and will hear sirens & cars all night. We ended up leaving a day early. I never do a review but this was so bad I couldn't live with myself without informing someone else. I hope this helps you.

Nightmare

Our experience with Bha's VRBO rental was absolutely terrible, and we cannot emphasize enough how poorly we were treated as renters. Not only did Bha fail to notify us of additional house rules that were not listed on the VRBO listing, but they also falsely advertised the capacity of their rental. Despite being listed as a rental that can host 4 people, the reality is that it can only comfortably accommodate 3 people. One of our guests was forced to sleep on the floor with little blankets or pillows. In addition, she falsely listed the VRBO as having two bathrooms which was nothing but the case – it has one. To make matters worse, Bha's amenities were incredibly scarce. When we arrived, we were greeted with an empty bottle of dish soap and only one set of paper towels. One of Bha's rules was to clean the dishes, but they failed to provide us with proper cleaning supplies. There was only one extra blanket for the guest who had to take the floor, which is simply not enough for a comfortable stay. And if that wasn't bad enough, Bha added a "last minute rule" that we had to keep the temperature of the house at 78 degrees. IN FORT LAUDERDALE?? This is absolutely ridiculous and resulted in us feeling like we were roasting in the house. Upon our arrival we could already feel the affects as the couch and Bha’s bed were quite moist from the heat. But perhaps the worst part of our experience was Bha's behavior towards us. They were extremely rude and condescending, and it was clear that they were only interested in getting as much money out of us as possible. Their greed and disregard for our experience were evident in their behavior, and we were left feeling completely disrespected and undervalued as renters. We were also notified with a passive aggressive text from the owner asking why there were five people at the pool. While we understand only four people are allowed to stay at the VRBO, this guest in particular was visiting to sit by the pool for less than two hours total time. However, when we asked Bha how did knew where we were, she admitted to having security cameras placed in the backyard. VRBO owners must make is clearly stated that security cameras are in use at the house (according the VRBO guidelines), or it is a complete breech of privacy and can lead to legal consequences. Once we pointed out these discrepancies to Bha, she edited the listing description and sent us the updated screenshots (We already took our own screenshots prior to

Séjour floride

Bel accueil, propriétaire disponible. Seulement déçue de ne pas pouvoir recevoir des amis à la maison pendant le séjour. Idéal pour séjour d'une fin de semaine. Manque un peu d'ustensiles, poêlons et assiettes pour y séjourner plusieurs semaines. Nous nous sentons en vacances avec la piscine creusée, le canal, le kayak disponible.

Lovely host

The villa is perfect for a couple. The walk in shower is fantastic and the back yard area is perfect for relaxing in sun or shade. Bha is super friendly and very responsive to client needs.

Cutely misleading

Not thrilled with this choice. It’s cute but there were a few misleading things that I feel inclined to inform any future guests. You CANNOT dock a boat at the place because there is a bridge with little to no clearance to actually get your boat to the dock. We had asked ahead of booking and were told we could. Listing is correct when saying not for light sleepers but geez, you are right at an insanely busy intersection in which sirens go by all day and night. The shower drain was not working properly so basically my husband and I bathed in our own filth the whole week bc the owner never responded to the message I sent her until the last day we were there. There is mold in the air vents. The couch had stains all over it. The socket in the bathroom looked like it was about to catch on fire so I unplugged the air freshener that was plugged in. Really upset about the fact that one of the doors in our bedroom was a door to outside facing the road and would not shut and lock. There was a sign saying “please do not open” taped to it with a large painting leaning against it. Come to find out that they caulked a piece of plywood to the outside. That was the only thing between us and the bus stop that is right on the street in front. I was not happy to receive a message with the list of rules A DAY AFTER we arrived saying no shoes in the house (it's cheap linoleum floor, really?), no outside guests (so mom and dad couldn't come over?). There apparently are multiple units being rented out, so which really means you don't have the place to yourselves. We thought it was just a duplex in which we may see someone else not a family with 4 kids crawling all over our boat parked in the yard (they were sweet girls though so didn’t get too upset over that) oh and a wedding going on with people staring at us trying to enjoy our morning. Also the message stated to “please clean up after my dog and he is only to stay on his bed not furniture. We are making an exception and usually don’t allow pets.” Cool, well he’s my medical alert service dog, and it’s illegal to deny his stay. So no, she didn’t do me any favors and was fully aware that he was just that. This place put a huge damper on our vacation and not worth the $1415.00. We will not be staying again.

Perfect getaway

It was an amazing stay place was really clean and the outside is so beautiful, the pool very relaxing will be staying here for my getaways with the hubby for sure, let's not forget the hosts they will communicate with you on one on one basis which is always a plus

Better than described.

I rented this place with my family for a week and it was awesome. If your looking for a true south Florida experience this is it. The interior of the place was better then described and the shower was incredible!

THE REAL FT LAUDERDALE

This quaint property is perfectly located in the heart of the original FT Lauderdale. Super clean The hosts were fabulous. I love the whole vibe of its surroundings Highly recommend this little jewel..
