Just steps to the beach, sleeps 16, Golf cart, Dolphin Beach House huge pool!

Our Dolphin Beach House is steps away from Fort Lauderdale Beach ( 119 steps to be exact). Walk and be there in seconds. You will not find a better location of home in Fort Lauderdale other than here. Dolphin Isles is the most up scale beach front neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale. We have been super host since 2011 and we have over 140 five star reviews and our neighbors include the Anheuser Busch family and the Band-Aid brand family. Even though the beach is right around the corner you will not want to leave our outdoor pool and grill area. If you do decide to drive downtown our 6 person golf cart is available for rent if available. Sleeps 10 adults and 4 children under 13yrs.

We had a great time at this well loved home. We fit 13 of us on a girls trip, one had to sleep on the couch. The best part of this house is the outside/pool area. We had an issue with the pool heater, but Lance had the guys out right away and they replaced the heater. The house is in a great location, walk to the beach, restaurants, etc.

Excellent Trip: great location

Great house and pool near the beach!

We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful home with a well-sized, private pool for relaxing! The house was laid out well for our extended family of 6 couples with each couple having a bedroom. The location was excellent with the beach nearby and many shops and restaurants in walking or a short driving distance.

Great place for a family get-together

This house was great for a group of people to get together and have fun. We loved the pool however we're a little disappointed that the hot tub was not a hot tub. A floor plan would be helpful to get a sense of how the rooms are laid out. The twin bedroom is right off the kitchen with another room beyond it. So, those two people better be friends...it worked for us, but it would be awkward with 2 strangers. The house is so close to the beach, the park and the water taxi. Buy your groceries and stay put! This platform d tub.

Nice place for a group, but inaccurate listing

While the house did have 6 bedrooms, to get to one of them, you had to cut through another bedroom without any direct access from a common area or even outside the house. Also, the house has a hot tub listed as a popular amenity and when I contacted Lance about using it, he stated "there isn't a hot tub but there is a sauna at the home if you would like to use it." While we were not looking for a sauna, the listing clearly states hot tub.

This was a wonderful house for a spring break vacation. Plenty of room, a great host and a beautiful home. Super close to the beach with lots of places to go. we highly recommend and hope to return again.

Great Team Bonding Location

The directors at my company stayed together for a team bonding/work trip and had a wonderful time. The outdoor space was amazing. The heated pool was so wonderful and we all spent so much time in there. The hot tub and pool are the same temperature and were not heated when we arrived. I recommend turning the heat up on the pool as soon as you arrive if it is cold so that it has time to warm up. This was also a great location and our group had lots of fun at the beach, restaurants, and shops

Fun girls weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the Dolphin Beach House. Plenty of room for 11. Close walking distance to the beach. Towels, beach chairs and umbrellas all supplied. The outdoor space was really nice. Heated pool and 2 W/Ds were a plus. Will absolutely return when visiting Fort Lauderdale. Highly recommend.

December 2023 stay

My extended family stayed at this property in December of 2023 and had a great time! The location of this place is hard to beat. Lance did a great job of communicating with us during our stay. We had a couple of minor issues and they were resolved immediately. Bedroom size and comfort was very good. Pool was larger than the pictures show and heater was very nice making it usable for more hours per day. There was a lot of beach equipment (lawn chairs, boogie boards, pool toys, wagon) available which made the beach experience excellent. Unlike other beach rentals that we’ve used, this place had at least 10 beach towels which was great. Living room was very comfortable and enabled our family of 11 to gather, play games, watch movies, and more. Kitchen was well appointed with plates, cups, spices, pans, cooking spray. This property has plenty of parking. There is also a crib (pack and play) and a high chair making the trip much smoother if you are traveling with an infant. All in all, it was a great place. Would highly recommend this beach house.

Well stocked property

This property is well stocked and communication with the owner/property manager was good. The property sleeps 14 people comfortably, but with the living room sofa pull out, another 2 can be accommodated. Like most rentals, the pictures on VRBO show a much better version of the property than real life. Never-the-less, our group enjoyed themselves in the yard with the pool and seating; it’s very private and quiet. This property, however, is NOT 119 steps from the beach. The beach is a short walk (~6 min) and while the listing does accurately show the path to the beach, 119 steps is not even close. The beach is beautiful, and absolutely close enough to take a morning walk with your coffee, but the 119 steps displayed so prominently in the listing is hard to ignore as incorrect.

Birthday Celebration

I planned a milestone birthday with 8 life long friends to celebrate in Ft. Lauderdale and choose Lance and Danielle property. The location of the house was perfect and big enough to accommodate all of us. The backyard, patio, and pool were beautiful. Mother Nature was not cooperative and we seen a record amount of rainfall during our stay. Lance and Danielle are very kind and caring and very responsive to any questions we may of had during our stay. Thank you for being such gracious and generous host Anthony

Perfect for casual practical

Great space for lots of kids with central air and a heated pool that was so much fun. May have to get creative with large groups for sleeping, but lots of options. Easy walk to the beach. Sandbar was a great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner casual and oceans 2000 was a divine meal for a dressy occasion. No issues with critters or wildlife for us, which we appreciated.

Excellent backyard and location!

We honestly couldn’t have found a better rental for our extended family to enjoy a week together! We had a blast using the pool and tiki bar, and everyone had their own space. Loved that it was only a 2-block walk to the beach, and there’s a great restaurant nearby right on the beach (highly recommend the Sandbar Grill…friendly staff and great food/drinks. Ocean 2000 is overpriced and not so great food). It’s a long ride to the New River because of traffic, but we were always able to get several Ubers or Lyfts for our large group within a handful of minutes. The property managers were awesome and extremely accommodating. Unlike the negative review about bugs on the property, we didn’t have a problem with any (although this is Florida, so keep the door shut and you should be fine). Although we don’t usually rent the same place twice, everyone in our group would really enjoy coming back another time!

Great location, but dirty flea/coackroachinfested

Overall I’d give this a 1 star review solely due to the lack of cleanliness of the property and that the pictures did not at all convey the lack of upgrades and general dinginess of the property. It was so uncomfortable that we actually left the property early and got multiple hotel rooms for the 10 of us (2 families with kids and 2 grandparents). The host, Lance, while seems like a nice guy, has no idea what his properties look like. When I told him about the condition of this place he really did not seem to know, clearly relying on third party cleaners and no local property management to keep the place well-maintained. Here’s what to expect: - the place smells musty and old when you walk in despite having the air condition running. - small black fleas/ gnats in all the bedding and couch that bite expose skin while sleeping or sitting. - coackroaches in the kitchen and entry way - ants all around the pool (while I understand it’s the tropics, the ant problem is excessive, property needs pest control) - while we didn’t see any mice, you can definitely here rodents in the walls. - the kitchen tile is all cracked and dented, dirty and dingy. - we needed extra bedding and found wet bedding stuffed away in one of the closets, which we had to dry so not to generate more bugs and mold. - we spent the first 2 days washing and drying all of the bedding (I.e. stripping our beds). However not before all of us got completely bittten up, at night especially. - I did inform the owner privately, sent pictures and videos. While he agreed to give me 2 nights back as a refund, a few days later he has reneged this offer. Really bad (and greedy) business practice. He did offer us 3 nights free in another property which we would never take him up on given this experience. - If there was a way to post pictures, and videos I would! Please send me a message and I’ll send them to you! Please do not stay here or any of his other 10 properties! I’ve also informed VRBO.
