The backyard is the reason this one gets booked twice. A pool wrapped in pavers and shade sails, a gazebo strung with lights over a full outdoor lounge, and a dense green wall of palms and tropical plantings closing the whole thing in — the kind of yard that does the work of a privacy fence and a vacation at the same time. Baby Be Sweet is a three-bedroom pool home in Oakland Park built around that yard, where most of the day happens outside and the house makes it easy to stay there.

Inside, the layout is open and uncomplicated: light tile floors, deep blue accent walls, and clean sightlines from the sofa through the dining table to the kitchen, so nobody's ever cooking alone. The kitchen has quartz counters, stainless appliances, and is stocked
for people who actually cook — full cookware and knife sets, a blender, coffee maker, toaster, tea kettle, and a filtered water pitcher for the everyday stuff. The dining table seats six for a long, unhurried dinner, and the game collection earns its keep when the
plates are cleared: Codenames, Uno, Yahtzee, and Monopoly Deal for the table, Giant Jenga and Block Toss for the grass.

Sleeping is sorted for nine. Two of the bedrooms are anchored by king beds, and the second adds a full sleeper sofa for a couple more. The third room pairs a full and a twin, an easy fit for kids or friends splitting the room. Two full bathrooms keep the morning shuffle painless, both stocked with Grown Alchemist shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel.

Out back, the pool is the center of gravity — pool towels are stocked, loungers face the water, and the covered lounge under the gazebo stays shaded through the hottest part of the afternoon. It's a good setup for the long South Florida evening, when the light goes gold and nobody's in a hurry to go inside. Impact windows and sliding doors keep the house quiet and cool, and a universal EV charger handles the practical side of getting around.

The neighborhood is a genuine part of the appeal. You're a five-minute walk from Downtown Oakland Park's Culinary Arts District, where a compact, unfussy restaurant row has quietly become one of Broward's better places to eat — Thai, Italian, and some of the best tacos in the county, all within a few blocks. Jaco Pastorius Park sits at the end of the street with its quarter-mile loop and murals honoring the local bass legend it's named for. Beyond that, everything worth doing is a short drive: Wilton Manors is about five minutes south, the sand at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and Fort Lauderdale Beach is ten to twelve minutes east, and Hugh
Taylor Birch State Park adds mangrove trails and beach access just past it. Las Olas Boulevard's galleries, boutiques, and patio dining are around fifteen minutes on, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International is roughly twenty minutes out.

It's a quiet residential pocket with a walkable dinner scene and the coast in easy reach — and a yard you'll be reluctant to leave.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
