"Leaving five stars, because I really liked this hotel, and would like to see it succeed. My wife and I stayed here for one week from Apr. 28 to May. 5. The hotel itself is a historic stone building. "Everything about the Buccaneer was an absolute dream! The rooms, the beaches, the food and especially the staff. Had metal poking up on both beds, screaming kids until 1 o’clock in the morning, banging on the walls and screaming rundown building when we asked for another unit, the other unit was exactly the same had bugs in it run down worthless bed the owner that told us that if we wanted a refund we had to turn over the keys and leave right now that was at 1:30 in the morning we had to sleep with our car on the streets of St. Croix. "I would stay here again. We were here 9 years ago and loved it! It was just as good this time. Views are wonderful, beach is very nice and not crowded, bartender Connor was excellent and food truck was delicious!! We fell in love with the cats around our cabin. All in all, this place will always be our place to stay!! "

"My stay at this hotel was exactly the relaxing escape I needed. Having the ocean literally right outside my room was incredibly calming, and every angle felt like a postcard. While parts of the exterior looked a bit worn from the balcony view, the interior more than made up for it with beautiful, thoughtful aesthetics.
