"I had a fun stay at the monastery in Fort Augustus along with my wife and 3 kids. The property itself is beautiful and the activities for the kids were exactly what we came for. Whether it's spending time at the pool/sauna/steam room or playing chess in the courtyard. The apartment was well furnished and fit all of us well. The Spar in town allows you to pick up food (more than just necessities). Great communication with the team who run the property leading up to our arrival and then again at...

"It is a great property but don’t arrive late because there is not much communication until you arrive at the property. We arrived 3pm and you pick up keys at the coffee shop that closes arround 5:30. As long you get there early you won’t have a problem. Otherwise, the property is great! Very clean and spacious. "Unique location ...close to Loch Ness boat tours, gas station/grocery about 2 blocks away and variety of restaurants. I recommend The Bothy for dinner. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues....up multiple flights of stairs...you should move on. Communication was great and arrival instructions clear. Combo washer and dryer was the only negative experience we had...instructions were left but had never used one before and couldn't get the hang of it....surely my error."

"The apartment is beautifully decorated. Everything seemed to be of high quality, including the beds, towels, etc. The location is excellent as you can go north or south within an hours drive to reach many sites. The property is right on the lake so it is very nice to just sit and relax there. our only issue was with the man who checked us in and was supposed to show us the appliances, etc. in the apartment. He seemed in a rush to do this as quickly as possible, and was not terribly thorough....

"Easy parking, clean and tidy room only let down was squeaky bed when someone moved, toilet and shower block clean and plenty of hot water, shared kitchen clean with plates cups etc. for a inexpensive place to stay was very impressed. If travelling in area again would definitely use, many thanks."

"Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. "
