Great place, nice hosts, definitely recommend.
Lovely property, but for the cleaning fee we are required to pay, I didnt expect spiders in a very intricate web strung out on the light over the dining roon table. Nor did I expect old coffee grounds in the coffee pot with mold in it, or a thick layer of dust on the ceiling. I was told there was no light by the backdoor, which also had 2 steps on it. Thats a tripping hazzard when its dark. I also don't think I should have ti start lau dry before I leave, not for the cleaning fee we pay. This was a lovely property, the hosts were very nice. Although there was a little left to be desired in cleaning, the host addressed my concerns that same day. This place was well stocked wirh towels blankets, and anything else we could need. I would definitely recommend it!

Little piece of Heaven
This cottage by Lake Huron is beautiful, the house is very nice and the owners have thought of everything! We spent most of the time outside and really enjoyed the fire pit, the seats near the bluff and the picnic tables. The big dining room table made each dinner together with all of the family extra special. We visited the near by parks, Wagner Park is a must! And the little city of Harbor Beach was great for a quick trip to dollar general or to Ernestos for pizza! Our family had a great time!

Ok Getaway
Great private beach for the neighborhood. However rental next door was very close. So we didn’t get the quiet getaway that we were expecting. Group renting house next door was a large group of very young adults who stayed up late having a good time. They were nice, but not quiet. House was ok. Overall pretty clean and kitchen was stocked with essentials. However there was food in cabinet dated with an expiration date of 2022. Bed was not so comfortable, but blankets and comforters were super soft. Biggest disappointment was the patchy, slow access to internet and TV channels. I had some work that I needed to do while on vaca and the internet access prevented me from accomplishing it in a reasonable amount of time. While VRBO listing noted internet access, it failed to mention slow and not reliable internet or cell service.

Highly recommend
Our group, ranging from 76 to 1 years old, had a lovely stay. The house is very well equipped with anything you might need-paper towels, toilet paper, spices, toys, games, firewood. The house was very clean and has an open layout. The hosts are very responsive. I highly recommend this home and plan to return in the future.

Perfect getaway
While the photos are beautfiul, they still do not quite do it justice. The view alone makes it worth the stay! The home has an open layout and plenty of room for guests, It was fully equipped with anything that we could have needed, from last minute condiments we forgot to an emergency power outage kit. VERY well thought out! The hike down the bluff to the is certainly worth it, a private beach with a fire pit and kayaks! We can not wait to come again!

A beautiful location and home!
A very beautiful location on the water, with beach . The owners Greg & Paula were outstanding with commutation and correcting issues I brought up to their attention. I would highly recommend anyone with or without kids would love this place. Hope to stay there again in the future.

Great Family Getaway
We really enjoyed our experience here. It was so calm and peaceful and everything we needed before school starts and a nice birthday getaway for my partner. It was a perfect amount of space for all of us and things to do. We have been waiting to kayak this year and finally got to experience it this year. I loved the view and would do it again definitely.

Amazing sunrise location!
This home accommodated our family of 12 very nicely. The yard was nice and big for games, beach was nice, we managed the 67 stairs down and up and having the kayaks at the beach was great! Kitchen had everything we needed, Would suggest sharpening the knives. A few more bath towels would be good, we washed towels quite a few times. Lake view is beautiful!

William, Paula and I would like to thank you for your review and we've taken your comments to heart. The day after your reservation, we collected and returned to the Forestville home, the 14 towels that followed us home from a power outage that occurred there as we laundered - just before your reservation. They were cleaned, dried and sitting on our kitchen table (waiting to return). To ensure we accounted for damage and any loss, we added an additional 6 towels to the shelves and +5 beach towels to the basement racks. I will personally re-sharpen the knives on my next visit. Your reservation was followed by my daughter's and with her degree in hospitality management, I have 7 other suggestions to keep us at the top of our mission. Wonderful Lake House
Me and my cousins stayed here during the garage sale weekend and shopped our way down Lakeshore Dr from New Baltimore to Harbor Beach. The lake house was perfect for our group to rest and relax. Stunning view.

Wonderful family trip
The property was a good size and very functional for our crew of 11. The beach was beautiful and private. Great for kids playing and adults relaxing. Property manager was easy to get ahold of and extremely attentive of our needs. We all really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Family Spot
This property has everything you need to enjoy a week at the lake keeping kids and adults occupied. Sitting by the water watching the sunrise had us dreaming of owning our own lakefront home on Lake Huron. We will be back.

Beautiful and peaceful
We stayed in this property in Summer 2022. The backyard on the bluff was great for barbecues, fires in the firepits, stargazing, and watching the most amazing sunrises. The beach was fantastic - we spent every sunny moment there. Kayaking in the Lake Huron waters was a challenge for us amateurs but tons of fun. The water was cool and refreshing but if you like swimming water shoes are a must because like most of the East Coast of Michigan the bottom is pretty rocky a good ways out. On the only cloudy morning we took a wonderful walk in the very peaceful neighborhood and our kids had a great time at the park that is less than 5 minute walk away. House was charming and comfortable. The hosts are conscientious about having every amenity on hand and it really made a huge difference as we didn't have to go to the store once during our entire stay.

Bridal Party House
Rented this house over the weekend for a wedding on Sunday. The house was more that big enough to fit everyone we needed, as well as had an abundance of accommodations like firewood, propane, ect. to make sure that we could have the best time possible. House and property was clean and beautiful, would definitely stay again!

Hands Down, a MUST stay!!!
This might just be the perfect family vacation spot. Not only is the location gorgeous and peaceful, the place pristine, and the drive to get there smooth and scenic, but the owners’ hospitality shines through as they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and think of everything you might need to enjoy your stay that much more. From beach amenities to a loaded wood rack for the 2 fire pits, to indoor and yard games, as well as a digital jukebox, and even the items you’d need traveling with an infant (like a high chair and playpen) this place was guest-first focused in ways that no other place we’ve ever stayed has been. The sunrise over the lake from the top of the bluff is unbeatable and the private beach access is a dream for a young family. We stayed here with our second grader and infant to celebrate a family birthday, the start of summer, and our first vacation as a family of four since baby was born last year. As one might imagine, traveling with a young family has its own special considerations and we felt right at home staying here together and had an absolute blast. Saw the strawberry super moon rise over the lake, made some unforgettable family memories, and felt welcome from start to finish. Would definitely stay again!

A Truly Hidden Gem - Photos do not do it justice
The pictures online do not do justice regarding this property. The house has ample space and a wonderful kitchen which allowed us to cook for the entire group with relative ease. The two master bedrooms had little working areas that allowed many of us to escape for a time to do some work in a quiet area of the house. The yard overlooking the lake is large enough for games with a fire pit close by. The kayaks on the beach were a real treat, especially for some of my friends who do not live close to the water. At night, the dining room table was large enough for our entire group to gather around, eat, and play board games. Lastly, the outdoor patio kept the rain out and allowed the one rainy day we had to still be a pleasant day where we could all sit on the comfortable outdoor furniture and watch as the storms rolled by. Again, the pictures do not do this property justice and every member of our group wants to come back to this property next summer for another excursion. Could not recommend more!

My husband and I drove up from Kansas City, my brother drove up from Richmond, Virginia, and our parents drove in from Ann Arbor. We ALL had a great time and were very comfortable in this wonderful rental. We did not want for anything!! Thank you, owners!!!

Our spring getaway
We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this clean, calm, and peaceful vacation rental. We enjoyed walking along the shoreline picking up some nice Lake Huron stones. Kayaking, bon fire, and s’mores making were indeed great and were fun activities to do. Birds chirping and the gorgeous Huron Lake greet you the moment you wake up. When you’re out in the patio, you just need to open your eyes to see the hands of God. We even extended our stay for a couple of days which obviously shows that we really had an enjoyable and relaxing vacation.

Comfortable, cozy house with a fantastic lake view!
We had a quick two-night stay in the winter and we had a blast! The house is well maintained and well stocked. Gregory & Paula’s thoughtfulness and attention to detail was exceptional. They even left us a gift as we were celebrating our anniversary :) Also, as advertised, we got some great photos of a Bald Eagle who stopped by to perch on a backyard tree. We loved it so much that, while we were still there, we made sure to book another stay in the summer. Fantastic hosts, fantastic place!!

Most incredible view and beach on Lake Huron!
The cottage was amazing, clean, and very cozy. They had everything we needed. We enjoyed fires on the beach, roasted marshmallows, hot chocolate, great music, tons of memories and a spectacular view of Lake Huron. The kids and everyone had a fantastic time. We were down the road from our hunting land and we were able to use this amazing place to make our opening hunting weekend one to remember Thank-you! We would love to come every year! Nothing but an incredible place and host!

Gorgeous view, great house
My sister and I spent five wonderful, relaxing days at this home. The view of Lake Huron is spectacular. We had great weather except for one day when the fog was so thick all day that we could not see the lake. The house was immaculate. It is well equipped with everything you need in order to feel right at home. The hosts, Greg and Paula, went above and beyond what we usually expect of a VRBO host. We mentioned that we forgot to bring a loaf of bread. Greg came out with not only a loaf of bread but also a jar of delicious strawberry/rhubarb jam. We talked about making muffins, and the next day Paula came out with muffin tins and three boxes of cornbread mix. You can't beat that for gracious, caring hosts! The house is thoroughly comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the beds. As a senior citizen with a constant backache, I loved the firm mattress. It was almost like sleeping at home. We highly recommend this home for anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway with a spectacular lake view.

Just what we needed!!
We had an incredible time here and Gregory and Paula made sure everything was an easy process from working with our schedules and children to thinking of the little things one might need while away. The view is incredible, stunning really. Even with a rainy morning the view still made it fun and the activities indoors. The water is so blue and it’s all you see while inside. The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking. We have three boys and they absolutely loved the beach from collecting rocks to making sandcastles to taking walks down the beach and commented that it was “the best day/trip ever.” To see their pure joy and excitement was all worth it! My family even stopped by for the day to surprise me for my birthday and they couldn’t believe what a nice place and view Gregory and Paula’s place entailed. Some great memories were made here with my boys who have not gone anywhere because of Covid and we are so grateful we had the opportunity to stay here. Thank you so much Gregory and Paula for the fantastic long weekend, we can’t wait to come back!!

Just what the Doctor ordered!
It has been a rough last few months, and some of our friends had recognized the stress we were under as a family. When recommended to try this vrbo, we were told it is a place to get rebalanced out. The view was absolutely amazing, the kids looked through the pictures online when we were looking at it and had their own itinerary planned for what to do when they got there. The pictures did not even do the property justice. The coffee and conversation that took place was just amazing. Thank you Greg and Paula for a wonderful time at your place.

Great house pictures don’t do this place justice
Had the best time here. House is beautiful. Very clean and the host thinks of all the needs of guests we even had a storm and went without power for portion of our trip and they had a small box with the supplies we would need in case this happened. The beach area is beautiful very rocky so bring some water shoes but the views are amazing. Beds are very clean and comfortable we had the best time. Will def stay here again in the future.

Diamond in the Bluff
Words could not begin to summarize the view at the best beach house and bluff. Watching the sunrise at the top of the bluff with your morning coffee to having a bonfire in the sand under the stars. We didn’t spend much time inside but the home was clean. The host was quick to respond to any questions or inquiries. Beautiful home, I hope to return again in the future.

Wedding Venue
My now-husband and I were looking for property off the water to have our wedding and the home-owner was pleased to accept and allow. Greg and his fiance Paula were very kind and communicative with all of our needs. The property is large enough to accommodate a 40x40 tent which we could have gone bigger if needed. We had an intimate ceremony on the beach and the reception up top. It was more than perfect and absolutely gorgeous.

Amazing view
My family had a wonderful week making memories at this beautiful lk huron property. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need for preparing meals, which were enjoyable with the great view of the lake. The home was very clean and spacious for the 10 of us. The beds and bedding were most comfortable. Many hours spent looking for petoskey stones by all ages and I believe that everyone of us were successful, they were there if you looked hard enough. Bring your water shoes for rock hunting. Campfires, cornhole and dominos were ejjoyed by all. We thank you for the use of your beautiful home for the week and would love to return.

Perfect 4th of July week
This was our second visit—this time 4th of July, and we were amazed at how quiet the beach was on a holiday weekend! Property was perfectly clean had some nice additions—esp the Adirondack chairs outside. Ran into the owner a couple of times—friendly and never intrusive. Lovely week!

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We completed the south patio last week and will be fitting it with furniture and electrical in the next 3-4 weeks in-between guests (once the wedding party there now completes their stay). There was a large mass of willow trees and roots that had washed up onto the shore before your stay and we wanted to update you that we put 4 days into that beach to remove that pile and made firewood out of the trees for the beach fire pit. Our goal for next year is to set up kayaks and racks at the beach. We look forward to your future returns. - Greg & Paula

Wonderful stay, beautiful sunrise, private nice beach and what not! Host is super nice and very accommodating. We were able to check- in early and enjoyed the stay. Memories to cherish forever. Pics on site don;t do justice to the place. You can't regret your booking. Looking forward to go back already.

Fantastic summer beach rental
Our stay was fantastic! Our hosts were very responsive to questions and one minor issue. The house is clean and well stocked! The property and the beach are absolutely gorgeous!

Family get together
My daughter is getting married July 3rd, so my 3 daughters, 2 granddaughters, the brides Mom and sister-in-laws-to-be and 2 friends had a wedding shower at this home! This house was perfect! Big kitchen, dining and living area, the home had everything we needed, we didn’t have to bring anything!! Huge backyard, sturdy stairs to the beach, nice fire pits (2) with lots of wood!! The guest hosts were helpful and very accommodating! Perfect spot for a family reunion or time at the beach! I’m going to rent it again this summer so my kids and grandkids can come and enjoy the beach!! Thank you!

The hidden gem
This place was great. It has tons of room for family and friends. Then there’s the view of the lake and beach… absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to come back.
