"It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish. I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. "

From the decor it looked like the hotel was a premier inn in a former life. Just needs a bit of tlc and updating, but was more than adequate for us, very comfortable beds resulting in a very giod sleep."

"Lovely place to stay. My only criticism is when asking where to park the receptionist on the phone recommended a car park miles away (st Mary's). Don't! As long as it's not a match day, it was easy to park straight outside and then don't pay in the blue car park, they have a code inside for half price. "
