"We had a great stay at The Evenhill. All the staff were very friendly. Our room was clean, warm and spacious. The shower was great and the towels were nice and large. We didn’t get full WiFi signal in the room, but it wasn’t a problem. We had dinner in the pub and everyone’s meal was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was excellent as well; with plenty to fill us up!"

The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. "We arrived before the check-in time and dropped our luggage there, wich was placed in our room when we finally got to the room. The staff couldn't be nicer. The hotel is located by the entrance to the Cathedral, near stores, pubs and restaurants. Comfortable clean room. Ours was an ensuite. I would definitely recommend it. "

"The staff were fantastic very helpful and lovely to talk too and the room was beyond what I was expecting, beautifully clean lovely and warm the toilets were always clean and the shower was a walk in we absolutely enjoyed I stay and hopefully will be back next year. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel very welcomed."

"About a 20-minute walk from the centre, this place is in a convenient and easy-to-reach location. The check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, which made arrival completely stress-free. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10am. With a relatively late check-in time and quite an early check-out, a later check-out option would be much appreciated. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was on the minimalistic side, but still...

"The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. "
