"Die Blockhütte in Haukedalen ist wunderschön gelegen. Sie enthält kaum Komfort, es ist aber alles vorhanden, was man so benötigt. Leider ist im Haus und dessen unmittelbarer Umgebung kein Internet vorhanden. Dies macht es unmöglich, Touren und Ausflüge zu planen, da man keinen Zugriff auf Wetter-, Karten- und sonstige Informationen über die normalen Kommunikationsmittel hat. "Un excellent point de départ pour visiter la région de Bergen à Alesund. L'endroit est éloigné des zones trop touristiques mais permet de profiter des paysages,des cascades et des fjords de Norvège. La maison offre d beaux espaces pour une famille pour cuisiner.lire le soir manger a l'intérieur ou quand il fait beau sur la terrasse à proximité du fjord. Merci pour votre accueil. "

"A nice old house with enough space for us to stay. The house is old, but has everything you need to stay (although the washing machine is old, small and has low spinning so it takes some time to dry) and the wifi is poor. Lot's of opportunities for hiking in the area, and also to go with the ferry to the other side. The house is in Ortnevik (we thought it was in Bjordal) at the end of a road. Joar is a very friendly and helpfull guy, and is easy to reach. We recommend this house for a stay."

"Absolutely perfect little home to just get away and enjoy the sights of Norway! Was originally supposed to be just me but I ended up making some friends at the hostel I stayed at in Oslo so they tagged along on the drive with me. Totally forgot to change the reservation on the way there but Ragnar was more than welcoming when we arrived!! When we got there he gave me the run down of things in great detail which was very helpful and even had a little gift for us! I wish I could keep this little...

"It was very nice to have an apartment in such a beautiful well maintained old house. We enjoyed the tranquility. The view from the balcony on the fjord was fantastic. Likewise from the 'towerroom'. Balestrand is a good base for excursions in the area, walks and visits to museums. The owners are friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay. Ingrid"
