"This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. "Not worth the cost. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the shower drain needs unclogging. I had to stop the water for it to drain or it would have over flown the base. The stove light didn’t work. There was no toaster. No facial tissue/kleenex. The dish sponge was used (not good for someone with food allergies like me). There were only two glasses. "We booked at the last minute fir 2 nights as we were delayed sailing to Isle of Barra due to bad weather. Melfort was perfect for us to relax and begin our holiday, the family loved the pool and we had a lovely walk. The cottage was great. Most important the staff were just so helpful, they could not do enough. We are already recommending to friends."

"Die Bilder im Inserat versprechen nicht zu viel - die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer und der Terrasse ist grandios. Ein wenig getrübt wurde der Aufenthalt dadurch, dass ständig gelüftet werden muss, weil das Holzhaus sonst etwas muffig riecht. Dass bei dem üppigen Mietpreis der Strom noch extra dazukommt, ist etwas übertrieben."

"Sadly we only had a very short 1 evening stay at this beautiful location. We would have enjoyed more time here. In that short time we received above and beyond care. I asked where we might be able to find ice when checking in. The nearest market was already closed for the evening. Olwen from reception was so nice.
