As we mention in our listing, we are in quiet a neighborhood, and it is inappropriate to be loud in the backyard or outside. It is not a party house. It is a vacation rental. You do not have to be super quiet, but you cannot play loud music and talk and scream at the top of your lungs while using the pool and hot tub. You are correct, this is not the house if you plan to be loud outside and have a party. It is a vacation rental and it’s all we are license to be by Hall County.

Kerri, Glad you had a nice time at our home. We put a lot of energy in giving a five star experience. The home was built in 1995 and we put $100,000 updating the living spaces and kitchen and kept the bathrooms as is for the most part. They are very nice with fresh paint and toilets, but I’m sorry they were not up to your standards. The neighbors are who they are. Nothing I can do about that. Concerning the hottub, as I mentioned, I would have been happy to turn it on at any time. Each guest has a different use schedule so it’s not possible to run it 24/7.

So happy you had a nice time. Yes, we had a neighbor build on their land since the pictures were taken, but we still have no neighbors on the other side of us. And as you mentioned, the home is still very private with wonderful lake views.

Marlissa, there is nothing we can about a bedroom having a water leak the day of your arrival. As you mentioned, I did offer to fully refund your stay and you could have found other accommodations since you live locally in the area. We had to run the fans and there will be a “slight” water smell as you put it when a bedroom has water damage. You were already paying only $498 a night when my rate is usually $1198 a night and we stay booked up at this rate for a home that is 7000 square feet, on the water with a heated pool and hottub. So no, I did not offer an additional discount. You were only supposed to have 11 people sleeping there and I have 5 king beds and 1 queen bed, plus the bunk beds, so you should have had plenty of room to accompany your family even without the flooded back bedroom. About the plungers, we have 3 plungers in the garage, which I told you when you called about this so your brother in law should not have had to buy one. The septic is fine and recently updated so we have no issues there. It can more than accommodate the 11 people that I am licensed for. Sorry I was not available at 3am to turn the heat up. We allow the heat to go up to 73 and you are correct, I turned it up to 75 for you at 5am when I received your message. As far as your comment about our home being slightly dated, people can look our pictures of our beautiful home and decide for themselves. Sincerely, Mark

So happy you enjoyed your stay. We have many pots, pans and utensils for cooking. It’s a big kitchen so maybe they were in an area that you did not see them.
