"This hotel was so disgusting and unsanitary, we cancelled after the first night and went elsewhere. And when we were told to contact Expedia for a refund, they refused to authorize the refund. There were bugs, mold, and literal poop smeared in the floors of the bathroom. And to be told that we could have the two nights refunded that we did not stay and then now being told we cannot be refunded, is scamming at its finest. Do not waste your time or money staying here."

"We were on the 21st floor and the hot water in the shower and sink never got hot. We stay here all the time and have never encountered a hot water issue. Called the front desk and they said maintenance would look at it. The next morning same thing. Ran the shower and sink for over 20 minutes and the water never got over 94-95 degrees at best. Not sure what the problem was but it definitely was not fixed. We have been on floors 12 through 20 before and this never has occurred."

This was like staying at you eccentric, generous, Bohemian uncle’s place - cool art and artifacts EVERYWHERE, snacks and drink offerings available 24 hours/day, and well appointed, clean, and comfortable “guest” room! The night we came in, I was lucky enough to actually meet Chef “Uncle” John Cariere, the proprietor. He was very welcoming and accommodating and invited us to the complimentary breakfast. "This hotel lacks corporate investment. The rooms are clean, but amenities are scarce. There is just one fast food restaurant in this casino and Cattleman restaurant is open for 4 hours day and no room service or breakfast on site. You have to pray for door dash. The Louisiana Board walk is Zombie movie set. I was so disappointed. Food was aweful. I went to KFC and went back Texas."

"One elevator and it was shared by cleaning staff and guests, also very slow. Keyed rooms doors did not work well and had to have my keys redone both days of our stay. The staff were kind and helped each time. "

"The good....The room was really clean, the decor was beautiful and the bed was so so comfortable. There was a lot of pillows, the AC worked great, and there were plugs on the bedside walls, next to the side tables to charge phones etc. It was downtown , and the staff was kind. The ok...The bathroom was mostly clean, but dirt was built up in the corners of the bathroom floors, the paint was chipped along the floor boards, the jetted tub showed signs of corrosion. "My room was very clean. The property was well-maintained. The staff was friendly and provided assistance when needed (I needed help with the room TV and check-out). They were able to answer my questions and get me the help I needed. Parking is free, but spaces go really fast. The breakfast buffet was unbelievably delicious. It definitely saved us some money from eating out. The elevators were a bit janky, but there are stairs available. Overall, I would rate my stay an A+. I would definitely...

"The room was dirty, smelly, small, the water lukewarm, the aircon made a noise all night I thought it would quit, the sink faucet seemed it would fall off, the few towels were small and thin, the breakfast was sparse. The door to the bathroom did not close leaving a 2” gap because the bottom was warped and coming apart. There was also a dent where it seems someone punched it. They painted the door instead of replacing it."

"Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was too small to feed entire hotel. Elevator broke when I was in it. Construction going on with no warning on website. Several charges to my room still pending a week later with no action taken after I have called several times."
