"The Hideaway Inn is located ideally to walk to the lovely town of Lenox and right up the road from Tanglewood Music Center. It’s a lovely older property that has been well maintained with abundant period pieces. All good, so far. We arrived to find no greeter or hotel employee. Check in was automated. There in no elevator so these two seniors were left hauling their luggage up two floors of tricky stairs. "Hotel opened 18 months ago. The decoration of the rooms and reception is wonderful, with personalized and very welcoming service. Very large parking lot at the door of the rooms. The Hotel has a great location because it is on the side of the road but at the top of a small hill, being very quiet and having a very beautiful view."

"Our eighth stay at the BRI. We prefer the huge M1 and M2 suites in the main building. They are a steal — two very large rooms, one of them a screened in sitting room. Lucas is a gracious host, and all of the staff work hard to please guests. The nearby Old Inn on the Green in New Marlborough, MA offers one of the best fine dining experiences in New England. The Yale Chamber Music concerts and Music Mountain are our major cultural attractions."
