Santa Croce Studio in the historic center

The apartment / studio is located in the heart of Florence, just 5 minutes' walk from Piazza Santa Croce and a little further from Piazza della Signoria, with Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. You will find yourself immersed in the beauty of the historic center !!
With a few minutes of pleasant walk you can reach the Duomo, Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistery of San Giovanni, Ponte Vecchio, the Basilica and the San Lorenzo Market, the Bargello Museum and Palazzo Pitti.
At 5 minutes you will also find the School of Architecture (headquarters of Santa Verdiana and Santa Teresa) and the National Library.

Located in the attic, on the third floor, of a building without a lift (50 steps), like many historic buildings in the city center, the apartment is graceful, very bright and carefully decorated.
The studio is distributed as follows: entrance / living room with kitchen area, which also receives lighting from the window overlooking an internal courtyard of the building. In the sleeping area, in the mezzanine, there is a single bed and a half with a new mattress.
The bathroom with window, covered in marble, is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a comfortable shower.

The particularity of the accommodation is the Tuscan-style roof, with wooden beams and terracotta bricks, completely visible, in which there are two skylights that make the room airy and very bright.
Despite being in the city center, it is very quiet and in the morning you can wake up to the chirping of birds!

Air conditioning, heating and Wi-Fi included.

The apartment is equipped with kitchen, bathroom, bed and kitchen linens.

You will also find information, maps and brochures relating to the major museums and attractions of the city.

The check-in time is from 16:00 to 22:00 (to be communicated within the day before the arrival day), the check-out time is from 7:00 to 11:00 (to be communicated by day before departure).
For check-in after 22:00 (until 24:00) a supplement of 10 Euro is required to be paid in cash at the time of check-in, after 24:00 the requested supplement is 25 Euro.

I will be happy to welcome you on arrival, for the delivery of the keys, and to greet you at the end of your stay, for the return of the keys themselves.
Living 15/20 minutes from the apartment, I will be available for any information and needs.

Tourist tax of € 3 per person per night (up to 7 nights).
The tax will be paid on arrival in cash and a regular receipt will be issued.

Each guest who will stay in the apartment must be provided with a visa passport (for residents of countries outside the EU) or an identity document (for residents of EU countries).
I am required to register all guests to local authorities for your safety.



About the ZTL: free parking in the streets of the entire historic center is reserved for residents. It is possible to enter with your own car or motorbike to unload your luggage from Monday to Saturday after 20, until 8 in the morning, and on Sunday for the whole day.
The closest and cheapest secure parking is the Florence Parking Cimabue in Via Cimabue 24, about 10 minutes walk from the apartment, which offers an excellent daily rate of € 20.
Alternatively you can use the Beccaria Parking, an underground parking on 3 levels and guarded in Piazza Beccaria, at a cost of € 1.70 / hour, always about 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
The last solution is to use the blue striped car parks on the sides of Viale della Giovine Italia and Viale Giovanni Amendola. These are free from 20:00 to 8:00 (at night) on weekdays and for all 24 hours on holidays, while from 8:00 to 20:00 (during daytime) on weekdays the cost is € 2 for the first hour and € 3 per hour after the first. You can buy the ticket to be displayed during the parking hours in the machines that you will find in these areas.
